What is the average age and group size for the North Thailand Adventure Tour starting in Bangkok on 23.9. and ending in Chiang Mai on 6.10.2026?

We have a total of seven people booked on this date so far. Average age of around 23-24 years old. We expect more people to book onto this departure as it get's closer to the departure date.

I'm interested in the Northern Thailand package (14 days), but I was wondering if there was travel insurance I could purchase with it.

We partner with a company called XCover to offer travel insurance to our travelers. Unfortunately, XCover does not provide coverage for residents of New York or Hawaii in the United States, so we won't be able to offer you a travel insurance policy through them. We recommend looking into alternative providers, such as World Nomads, which might suit your needs.

are there other people who have signed up? if I buy the protection do I need to buy travellers insurance too? or is it included with the protection plan.

They are around 7 people, and travel insurance is a mandatory requirements to join the TruTravel's tour.

Are we suitable for travelers 46-56 years old? Is there an option for a wedding during the tour?

We have a strict age limit at 45. We are unable to take any customer over this age.

Is it possible to enter the group on 31th december? I am 43 years.

We currently have 3 places left, 17 booked, 2 males and 15 females, mostly solo travellers, ages ranging from 20 - 28 years old. We can take travellers up to the age of 45 on our trips.

Could I participate in the Thailand trip despite being 41 years old at the start of the trip? Would my age disqualify me?

We have an age limit of 45 years old on our trips, so this wouldn't be an issue with any TruTravels product. We would love to have you join us on tour. No such thing as "old age" in my opinion!

How many people are going? How many males and females? And which age group are most people?

We currently have 7 booked, 2 are male and 5 are female, 19, 21, 24, 23, 27, 28 and 40 years old. We can take up to 20 per group and we may see more people booking between now and then.

Would it be possible to join or to have an adjusted tour for 2 persons during those dates?

We run group backpacking tours with specific departure dates and length of trip. You can definitely join if the tour fits your time frame!

This was the trip of a lifetime! The tour is so varied and every activity was totally brilliant, I literally cannot put to words how amazing it was! We had a brilliant group and Peanut and Butter made us a family, it was so sad to finish the tour but the memories I’ve got from this trip are priceless. From seeing the elephants to the cooking class and to having dinner with everyone each night, it was all completely outstanding and so well organised. I don’t have a single complaint, and the best part of it was my tour guides, Peanut and Butter. Their knowledge about everything we saw was amazing, they’re just the funniest and loveliest people who will help you with absolutely anything you could need or want, most definitely going above and beyond at every step in any way possible. Scotty was incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. He showed so much care and support to all of us, he was always available no matter the time of day and what help we needed. He has so much knowledge about North Thailand and provided our tour in great depth showing us all the incredible sites. I couldn’t imagine doing this tour with anyone else. He really was / and made it so special. The whole group were in complete agreement, when people were ill he took care, he provided everyone with snacks, helped when we were travel sick and always checked in on all of us. He’s a true asset to Tru Travels. Everywhere we went we were welcomed with open arms because they knew Scotty and he helped us settle into every place we visited.
