can i get a brochure for this trip we are a couple older than 65 but very mobile Is this trip for us?

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten July 2023

It is very common for participants of your demographic to join and thoroughly enjoy this tour. It is great to hear that you are very mobile, as this is a necessary pre-requisite for this tour. For example, there is one overnight train (can be upgraded to flight if needed) so you may need to climb a small ladder onto an upper bunk. General fitness eg, being able to lift your luggage, keep up with the group when on walking tours (slow pace) is really all that is required. If you are aged over 70 we would ask that you fill in a Tour Suitability Form, feel free to look at the questions that we ask as a guage of your suitability - mobility seems to be the biggest challenge for some of our participants, so I am sure you will be fine!

Please advise if you require the passengers to have covid 19 vaccinations to partake in your tours?

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten February 2023

On The Go do not require guests to be vaccinated. They will of course have to adhere to the countries vaccination requirements.

Can you please advise the airlines/carriers that are used in this tour for the flights: 1. Luang Prabang to Hanoi on Day 6 and 2. Hoi An (I assume this would actually be from Da Nang) to Ho Chi Minh City on Day 14.

      TravelerWritten February 2023

Is it possible to book just as one person and be paired with another solo traveller to share a twin room? As opposed to having to pay the extra for a single room?

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten February 2023

We use Vietnam airlines or similar for our internal flights.

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten February 2023

Unfortunately we do not have the option for twin share for solo travellers so you would need to book your own room.

    Asked on March 30th, 2022

We are looking for a small group tour through Vietnam and Laos. A train trip within the tour would be great but not essential. We are looking at travelling the end of August please. We would like our flights to include premium economy or business class and the hotels 4+ please. Is this suitable for a 74yro who is not really active.

    Age Range
    Tour Details

    • On The Go ToursOperatorWritten March 2022

Our group tours cater for everyone from 18 years old to 70+. We also welcome travellers as young as 16 when accompanied by an adult and have no upper age limit, so we're a great choice for the young and the young at heart. On a typical tour departure, around 20% of the group will be aged under 35, with 25% aged 35-50, roughly 40% aged between 50 & 65 and finally 15% aged over 65. Whatever your age, you'll find a diverse mix of travellers across generations that all share a love of travel.
