Hi Aileen, thank you for sharing your detailed experience! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our small group sizes, the helpful local leaders, and the accommodations were better than you had expected. Your tips on packing light, temple-appropriate clothing, and being open to group activities are spot on. We're glad you had such memorable experiences, from eating an abundance of Bahn Mi to watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat. While our 18 - 35's trips aim to strike a balance between free time, included activities, and included meals, we appreciate your feedback on including more activities and meals and we'll share this with the relevant teams. Thanks again for your review and recommending the trip —we hope to see you on another adventure soon!

    Asked on June 30th, 2023

Is it really only available until 29 years old. And if so why.

    Age Range
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten July 2023

This trip is for 18 to 29-year-olds. Some of our under-30 travellers prefer to get around with people their own age.

    Jen

    Asked on June 18th, 2022

would I need any visas for these countries or can I get in with a travel visa and will I be the one to sort all that out like I need to book the flights to Bangkok?

    Flights / Transfers
    Visa
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten June 2022

Visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller. Entry requirements can change at any time. It is important that you check your government's foreign travel advisories along with the consular website of the country or countries you are travelling to for the most up to date information specific to your nationality and circumstances. Thailand visa: If entering by air most nationalities will be granted a 30 day stay on arrival. If entering by a land border, you will be granted a 15 day stay only. Laos visas should be obtained at the border. Vietnam visas most nationalities are required to obtain a tourist visa in advance. Cambodia visas can be obtained via eVisa or on arrival.

      TravelerWritten June 2022

I am coming from UK so it looks like I can get the Thailand visa on arrival and apply for the Vietnam one easily enough. Still, for the Cambodia one, it asks for the port of arrival and since we go from Vietnam the only listed one is Bavet (Svay Rieng) is that the correct place? Also, could you give a rough estimation of how much each currency to take?
