Joining the group on the 20th is not a problem, we can ask the tour leader to leave instructions for you at the hotel desk. The tour ends on 28th November 2026 after breakfast. Since your flight is at 1:20 AM, you could choose to depart the previous day.

Do you have this trip with a December 7 or 8, 2024 departure? Also can I as a single traveler sign up for a single room or are all hotel rooms twin share requiring 2 people to register online?

For the month of December we only have one date which is the 11th December 2024. Single supplement is available on this tour subjected to availability. However the single supplement exclude Day 2,7 (Sleeper Train) Day 5 (Felucca) Day 10,11 (Desert Camp) where you will be in shared accommodation.

Booking a tour with Intrepid during COVID was a horrible mistake. The company was inflexible with my booking during the height of Omicron (I would have happily rescheduled my tour). I felt forced to go on my $3K+ tour only to get COVID on my trip. I am an avid traveler, I've been to 35+ countries and I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my travel experiences. Unfortunately, I don't think Intrepid cares about the health and safety of its travelers and I would never use them again.Show more

All our itineraries undergo a comprehensive risk assessment and audit, with our leaders and suppliers completing COVID-19 Health and Safety training. We've also introduced a testing and vaccination policy for the safety of our travellers, staff, and communities we visit. Equally, we follow best practice advice from the World Health Organization and the World Travel & Tourism Council's Safe Travel Protocols for Tour Operators. As we’ve outlined in our communication with you before and after your trip, our booking conditions have been revised due to ongoing Covid uncertainty, now allowing our customers to make changes without incurring fees as close to departure as we can. Our 50% credit offer for customers cancelling within full payment (28 days) gives our travellers the chance to change their plans last-minute, should they feel more comfortable doing so. We have also introduced COVID protection: if you contract COVID-19 before you leave, or if government-imposed travel restrictions related to COVID-19 mess up your plans, you can cancel your trip right up until departure day.
