We are booked already June 7-11th. We would like to stay an extra night in Galway at the end of the tour. Can you recommend a room close to the drop off place?

I am a solo lady traveller and would like my own accommodation and I do not ride bikes. Will this tour suite me.

This tour has biking in Killarney and in the Aran Islands but for both you can replace this and the guide would happily do something else with you. For instance in Killarney you would be able to visit Muckross House while the others cycle and in the Aran Islands you can take horse and cart around the Island or go for a wonderful walk around the Island. The horse and cart would be at your own expense.

we arrive late on 5/24 is that a problem

We have many guests who arrive the same day while others arrive a day or two before hand. Do you know what time you are landing? The airport is only 20 minutes away and most often planes have tale wind so arrive early.

We are in our 40's, my mom is 75. We are wanting to see as much as possible on a 5-6 day tour. My mom can not walk for too long so we need a tour that can accommodate that- no more than an hour of walking without a significant break. What is included in price of tour and what tour(s) would you recommend for us? What documents besides passports will we need coming from US?

All our tours include hotels, entrance fees, wonderful Irish Guide, great Irish Breakfast (also healthier options and we cater for vegetations, vegans etc) and loads of great moments on tour. What is not included are your lunches, dinners, optional activities and gratuities. We have two styles of tours, active which is the one you have chosen and more relaxed which would be our 6 day magical Southern tour or Ireland. This one has less hikes and bikes and shorter walks and might be better suited to your mum. The pace of this tour is also slower which might suit as well, it has one night in Kilkenny which has one of the most best preserved castles in Ireland, you visit a traditional Irish farm in the Burren National park, you stay for two nights in Dingle and so much more. The more active one can also be adjusted so your mum has less fysicial activity so no worries there.

We don't ride conventional bikes anymore due to problems with balance. We can walk at a normal pace on even ground. When people are paddling around the water or riding bikes, what do you offer for people who are older and unable to partake in active activities?

We offer two types of tours, Active and Relaxed. Our spectacular South & West Tour falls under the Active range. While there are plenty of activities included, nothing is mandatory and your guide will always have fantastic alternatives. For example, if the group goes kayaking, you might choose to enjoy a scenic walk instead. When others are biking, you could opt for a traditional jaunting cart ride.

We dont cycle . When others cycling, what can we do?

Cycling in Killarney National park can be replaced with either a visit to Ross Castle or Muckross House, would depend slightly on the day.

Do I need a visa to enter Ireland?

No you dont need a visa as an US citizen.

I wanted to confirm that you still had room for 1 on this tour as well as that the bus ticket back to Dublin is for a return to Dublin on Thursday evening.

Our tour with our tour guide Hugh O’Rielly was really quite outstanding. Being the first tour of the season it turned out that we were the only ones on the tour so we had an absolutely wonderful tour of Southern Ireland with Hugh going out of his way to meet all our needs. My grandmother left Ireland in 1890 and we were able to go to the farm where she grew up and meet five of my distant cousins.Had there been one more person on the tour this would not have been possible. When we heard that we were the only ones on the tour we thought that the company might not go ahead with the tour.To our surprise it went ahead. It was an active tour though tbe pace was a good combination of strenuous and mild. The accommodations were lovely, with caring, friendly inn keepers. They all took great care of us with friendly conversation and amazing breakfasts. Shout out to our tour guide Cathal who could not have been nicer . Great itinerary and attractions with plenty of time at each destination. We really enjoyed the Kinsale, the bike ride in Killarney, kayak and Slea Head drive tour in Dingle, and the cliffs of moher hike. The B&Bs were good but our favorite was the Moloney House in Doolin. The rooms were super clean, beds were comfortable, and hosts were great. Our tour guide Cathal was very knowledgeable and accommodating. On our last day in Galway we had the option to choose what time we took the local bus back to Dublin and Cathal took us directly to the station and got us on the right bus. Overall recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a taste of Ireland!Show more

This was the first small Tour my husband and I ever took internationally and we really had a good time. There were a total of 8 on the tour and we all shared many adventures and laughs together which was really cool. Our tour guide Jack O’Connor was phenomenal. He had the gift of storytelling. The knowledge he shared about Ireland’s history and land was phenomenal and made the drive very interesting. He was considerate of everyone’s needs and you could tell he genuinely cared that we all had fun and got the most out of our time in Ireland. I haven’t laughed that much in a bus in quite awhile 😊 The towns we visited were amazing. The tour guides were extremely helpful. The activities that were planned were great- between visiting a sheep farm, kayaking, biking and hiking it truly was a nice way to experience the island. People in Ireland are friendly. Always felt safe. Most of the lodging was decent with breakfast in the morning except for one place that was not comfortable at all. All said and done it was an excellent trip.   I do not catch uber or taxi so this tour is pick up at Ashling hotel and it looks like no reservations for the night before. Also the drop off is a different place. Any recommendations to make this easy for me.
