The Lama Temple is not listed on the Itinerary. Our optional excursions are not listed for 2024 quite yet. If we don't offer a visits to the Lama Temple, you do have some free time while in Beijing and could work with the tour director to make arrangements on your own.

Is there an option to visit the Leshon Giant Buddha while on this tour?

At this time the Leshon Giant Buddha is not listed on the itinerary and the optional excursions have not been listed yet. It is still too early for me to give you a definitive answer.

What are the additional activity options for this trip?

With each Globus tour we offer optional excursions in additional to the included excursions that can be purchased ahead of time or while on tour. This tour is not operating until 2023. The optional excursions have not been announced yet and should be later this year.

The extension to Hong Kong includes the flight from Shanghai to Hong Kong. The itinerary includes a Star Ferry ride from Kowloon Island to Hong Kong Island, cable-car ascent to Victoria Peak, visit to the dried seafood market, ride on the double decker tram, dim sum lunch, and free time.

  We can accommodate a single guest and if you are unable to book it on the Tourradar website I can book it for you as long as you complete the "Traveler Details" on the website. The $250 deposit would not be refundable if you were not able to obtain the visa, but would be refundable if we had to cancel the tour.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Globus. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
