Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Canberra
You'll arrive in Canberra and head straight to Gold Creek Station for a farm experience with the Starr family. There's a sheep shearing demonstration happening, followed by a Be My Guest BBQ lunch where you'll get to eat what they've prepared. After lunch, you'll check out Parliament House and either wander the grounds or take a self-guided tour at your own pace. By evening, head back to your hotel for drinks with the group so everyone can start getting to know each other.

- Day 2
Canberra to Wangaratta
Early on you'll head up Mt. Ainsley to take in the views across Canberra from up there. From there, you'll cross into Victoria and reach Beechworth, which has really well-preserved buildings from the gold rush era. Walk around the Historic Precinct and check out the preserved structures, galleries, shops selling honey and gold items, and museums. Chat with the pub owner at the historic local pub, then stop for afternoon tea at the town's oldest hotel before traveling to Wangaratta for the night.

Wangaratta to Melbourne
You'll travel to Melbourne and take a city sightseeing tour to get your bearings. The tour covers Victorian history in the CBD and then moves to Southbank's riverfront arts district. You'll visit the Botanic Gardens and spend time at the Koorie Heritage Trust Gallery, which focuses on First Peoples arts and cultures. A cruise passes by the Crown complex, and you'll have the afternoon and evening in your central hotel location. Later, you can either wander through the laneways or grab a seafood dinner with sunset views along the Yarra River.

Melbourne
This is your final full day in Melbourne and you have options for how to spend it. You could visit Melbourne Skydeck at Eureka Tower for city views from high up, take a History and Donuts Walking Tour through the streets, or head out to Phillip Island to watch Little Penguins return to their burrows at dusk. That evening, you'll gather with your group for drinks and take time to reflect on the trip and what you've all experienced together.
