  Terrible experience. Don't do this tour. The tour company Bamba Experience simply purchased public bus for us. We had to find a way to the bus station ourselves, in creepy looking bus station in the middle of the night. The bus itself took over 11 hours, stopping in dangerous looking places. The bus company is called "Metro". The tour itself was very average. We were taken to a number of places where they were trying to sell us expensive jewellery, handmade carpets, etc. You get the picture. You can forget about any workshops. The bus back to Istanbul was canceled. We had to find out own way back. That said, the tour guide Alek was great. Concluding, don't do this tour. I booked with the tour radar a number of times before, and I had amazing experience, however this tour shouldn't be listed here. Avoid PawelShow more

  Hi Natasha, We are disappointed to read your review. We are sorry there was an issue with the pickup. Our supplier didn't find you or was waiting at the wrong place. We did provide you with a local contact number in case of emergencies (like this one) but you unfortunately didn't use it. As you contacted Bamba by email, it took longer to fix the situation as we had to contact ourselves the local provider when we saw your email. As soon as we were informed, we sent someone to your hotel to have you join the trip. You also wanted to do the optional hot air balloon tour, but you unfortunately didn't mention it to us at all. We would have been happy to organise it for you. We understand your disappointment during the trip. However on our side, we remained available for you at any time to help out.

  It was the first time i had travelled with Bamba & I was unfamiliar with concept of a self guided tour. They practically organise all of your transport, accommodation, outings etc. It was relatively well organized however there were some important pieces of information that weren't supplied & an error with a hostel booking. However the Bamba staff were prompt & very helpful when i contacted them to help sort the issue out. The hostel accommodation was basic & noisy, I feel i could have chosen better for a similar price. The tours they organized however were all fantastic. This way of travel takes away the hassle of you having to organise everything yourself...which saves time & effort . It is also pretty cheap. Personally i think i prefer to do the organising myself. But i would recommend this travel company to anyone who wants to travel independently on a budget, get the most out of their time in Turkey & are happy entrusting their travel planning to someone elseShow more
