    English-speaking guide is available for 225 USD. Upgrade to private room 19 USD per person per night. Hot water is no guaranteed. Yes, the 4x4 just for four people (plus the driver).

    On Day 1, you will spend the night in a shelter (Huayllajara), on day 2 is a Hotel de Sal in double room, and for day 3 you will sleep in a village called Altiplánico (Villa Mar) in a budget hotel. The price will be 403 USD per person for the basic Uyuni Salt Flats & Desert Adventure 4D/3N (Atacama to Atacama) + 19 x 3 nights= 57 USD= 460 USD. If you are 4 people, you can divide the cost of the English-speaking guide, so it will be 225 / 4= 56.25 USD + 460 USD = 516.25 USD. The meals included are: 3 Breakfast(s), 3 Lunch(es), 3 Dinner(s).

    The reality of visiting a remote area and immersing yourself in nature is that you will be far from modern facilities and the services will sometimes be slow and quite basic. Due to the harsh terrain, vehicle breakdowns are not uncommon, but the drivers are very used to fixing them and wait times are rarely excessive. The accommodations will be very basic, with cots and shared rooms, and the electricity and running water in the National Park are not as dependable as they are back at home. Toilet facilities may have a small local cost and the shower is only available on Day 1. Make sure to bring snacks, some water, toilet paper, and plenty of warm clothes. That said, with some patience, preparation, and an appetite for adventure, this trip will certainly be a positive and unforgettable experience.

  My husband and I would like to book the tour from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni. However, we will not be joining on the journey back to San Pedro de Atacama because we are staying in Uyuni to continue our trip to other destinations. Should we still book this trip as-is, or will that be a modified trip that you need to book for us? Are you also able to reflect pricing from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni instead of a San Pedro de Atacama return trip?

  I noticed there is no English-speaking tour guide in the price. Can you confirm this is the case? In addition, can you confirm I'd be able to come on this tour from the United States pending travel restrictions in both Bolivia and Chile?

    There is no English speaking guide on this tour. If you are a US citizen, you do no need to observe the visa rules as you may require a visa to enter Bolivia. Other than that, you are free to do this tour with us, pending any border restrictions that have been in place during Covid.

    Can you confirm I can pay extra to have a tour in English? Do you know if I will need to take a Covid test in Bolivia to get back into Chile upon tour completion?

    It is indeed possible to pay extra for an English speaking Guide. No, we do not know information regarding re-entry to Chile. The borders have been closed for a long time, and no one has been allowed to cross, so we don't know what kind of policies there will be once the borders open again.

    At the moment this tour is not available as the land border between the two countries remains closed, but things are changing, and hope the border will be open soon. But the tour from/to Uyuni is available.
