A fantastic trip with Intrepid Travel, there were a few illnesses but the company took care of us as quickly as possible. Loved all of the accommodations, the rooms were so beautiful!! Angkor Wat was as amazing as I imagined. All guides (we had 2 main guides, Channa and Fila), including local guides, were so knowledgeable and you can tell how much they love their country. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip.Show more

THe tour was great. We had a fantastic group - only 7 of us and we all got on. Hai was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. His family is from Siem Reap and he is an 'official' guide, having undertaken a 6 month course to become registered. He spent several years as a guide in Siem Reap and now guides people around the whole country with Intrepid. He was always happy and patient with us and always ready with a 'dad' joke and a giggle. Would 100% recommend. Most of the hotels were great, but the Angkor Panoramic was just average. It was in need of a face lift. There was also a lot of time spent travelling which could do with an extra day or 2 in places like Battambang to split the travel. There were several 5 hour plus days travelling and sometimes we were told that we would get somewhere to have time to do something and we wouldn't quite make it in time. The possible delays could have been factored in. Suggestions - develop a sheet with common phrases - hello, thanks etc Provide more information on what to do during spare time and a bit of information on the key cities and towns. Make the dinner in Battambang an included activity Don't eat at the NGO restaurant twice - perhaps try some French fusianShow more

Most people who travel with Intrepid are good travellers who are very keen to learn about the countries they journey in, and Ly was able to share with us a lot of information about his country. Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
