Is the age requirement strictly 18-39 for Uncover India: High Deserts & Markets? What if we have a guest who is very active in their late 40s or early 50s

Our 18-to-30 Somethings tours are designed for travellers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travellers around their age, while visiting a new destination. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger (but at least 18 years old) as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour. We do often have travellers outside of this age range who are interested in our 18-to-30 Somethings tours; however, we have to hold true to our promise on delivering the interpersonal experience we wish to offer with this product.

What kind of transport is used on the tour?

The tour includes various modes of transport like buses, trains, and sometimes planes for specific destinations, as per our itinerary.

Do you have any tours in reverse during february? From Goa - New Delhi, passing through all attractions in reverse order?

We don't have any tours in reverse unfortunately, all of our Goa tours starts from the north and head south.

is there a guide to show and explain the different sights?

Yes, you will have a CEO (Chief Experience Officer) with you from day 1 until the end of the tour. They are locally trained guides, which are there to offer assistance, give information, and make your experience amazing & carefree. They will move with you until the end of the tour after which you will part ways. In addition to your CEO you will also sometimes have local guides for the smaller tours and destinations.

How can I add optional activities to my tour?

Optional activities can typically be added during your tour with the guidance of your tour leader.

Are there any visa requirements for the tour?

Visa requirements vary by the destination and nationality of the traveler; please check the specific requirements before booking.

Do you provide airport transfers and what is the cost?

Yes, airport transfers are available at an extra cost.

Are international flights included in the tour price?

International airfare is not included in the tour price. You need to arrange your flights separately.

Can we book pre or post tour accommodation through you?

Yes, pre and post tour accommodation can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.

Can you accommodate 2 passengers in 1 room and 1 passenger in a single room?

We do not accommodate triple rooming on any G Adventures tours unless it is a family-specific tour with children between the ages of 7-17. We can add a single supplement for an additional cost.

India was my 57th country and I really wanted to go there with an open mind. After hearing what everyone else said when I told them I was going to India I wanted to prove them wrong. The smell isn't that bad, it smells at some places but most of the parts won't smell bad at all. Yes you will hear the traffic, it might be a bit overwhelming crossing the streets but they know better then you how to manoeuvre tourists crossing streets in Asia, trust them. Non of all the bad things people warned me of never happened, neither to me or anyone else in the group. People will most likely want to take pictures with you, if they ask you can always say no, and when they don't ask smile and wait for it to be over. I'm so glad I putted aside everything everyone told me and I'm even more glad to tell them how wrong they were now when I'm back. During our tour one of the travellers ended up in a situation that non of us was prepared for or trained for to handle. However our CEO did an amazing job navigating to different clinics, pharmacy's, phone calls with the traveller mom, arranging with the hotel to lock down parts of the hotels to keep the traveller safe. Also had time to brief us about our activities that was happening at the same time. The CEO also stayed with the traveller from that morning until we left with the morning train the day after. Not been able to sleep or rest at all during the past 24h while looking after the traveller. He still was chatting on the train and told us about the next stop and what was up next. Also during hard times like this it's really beautiful to see how people get together, trying to help out and support each other even though we didn't know each other's a few days earlier. Just wanted to lift the CEO a bit extra for overall doing a great job but then had to handle a situation like this and still being able to do his job after something that's really mentally exhausting.Show more

Good program but too many costs onsite including transportation, all meals, and most of the activities. I paid 900 euros in total expenses after 2 weeks in India, which is a very cheap country (I didn't by any souvenirs and I drink occasionally only). So if I had the chance to do it again, I wouldn't cuz it's too expensive at the end and the amount paid is way too much to cover only the stay and intercity transportation.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
