If the tour has a G Adventures promotion running, then we're unable to add the 5% repeat traveller discount. Only one promotion can be added per person, per tour. Tour Radar have their own discounts that can still be applied.

Can you advise if we book (2 people) for 1st Feb 2026, does that confirm the tour will go ahead? Also, looking at your website, it's clear the tour price is likely to be reduced closer to the time. Can you offer a better price if we book now?

All of our trips have guaranteed departures, so this trip will depart with just 1 person booked. Unfortunately we are unable to offer better price than what is on the website at the moment. As it is quite a way away, we would recommend holding off for a while to see if the price gets reduced, but there is no guarantee that it will, but just make sure it doesn't fill up.

Is there a possibility to extend my trip at the destination?

Extending your stay at the destination is possible. Please inform us about your plans before the tour ends to make necessary arrangements.

Are COVID vaccinations required for the tour?

COVID vaccinations are not required for all tours post March 31, 2023, but are highly recommended for travelers' safety.

You can most certainly choose to share a room with a fellow traveller of the same gender in your group at no extra costs. The pricing you see advertised on our tours are based on twin share. Single supplement or "My own room" as we call it will be an additional charge on top of the shown pricing on the website.

The tours are guided, and you will have the opportunity to trek near volcanoes, especially in areas like Panajachel.

  The hotels are part of the confirmed itinerary and we don't offer upgrades. The only option you might have is to upgrade the rooms locally, but at your own expense in addition to the tour price. If you are looking for upgraded service level, we will recommend looking at our Geluxe or National Geographic tours.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
