We need to have the hiking information please to make sure we are ok for it. daily hike distance in km, ascent and descent details . Confirm they carry our luggage so we just carry day bag of water , sun cream etc .

Porters are allowed to carry no more than 6kg of personal belongings per hiker. That includes sleeping bag, toiletries, clothing, etc. Pax are allowed a total weight of 6kg for the hike, which will be carried in a duffle bag provided by the local office. Any additional weight must then be carried by pax in their day pack. They can leave large suitcases or backpacks at our office in Cusco.

Do I need to arrange my own airfare to join the tour?

Yes, passengers must purchase their own flights to join the tour. These costs are not included in the tour price.

Do you offer a similar tour without the Inca trail hike?

The Inca Empire tour has three options for itinerary when you book you can choose to hike the Inca Trail, hike the Lares Trek or the Cusco Stay option. The Cusco Stay option spends more time in Cusco and the Sacred Valley and you take the train to Machu Picchu.

The Inca Tour through G Adventures was a once in a lifetime experience. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and did whatever they could to go above and beyond for our tour group. A big shout out to our main guide, Guido, especially who never stopped working to show us everything we wanted to see. One thing I liked about this tour specifically was how authentic it felt. You really interact extensively with the locals and get accustomed to their language, food and culture. The highlight of the trip of course was the hike to Machu Picchu but a close second was the day prior to the start of the hike where you drive to multiple little villages and see how the local artisans hone their craft. The hotels were all clean and comfortable but if you are looking for a pampered tour through touristy capitals then you will be disappointed. This tour is all about engaging with a new culture in a hands on way. You will get dirty and be sore on that long hike, but you will always be safe and have access to necessities when you must. After this experience I already can't wait to book my next tour.Show more

  Yes we do. There are 3 options to Machu Picchu on this itinerary. - 4 Day Inca Trail Hike - 3 Day Lares Trek Hike - Cusco Stay (no hike and take scenic train and bus to Machy Picchu). The duration of the trip is the smae bit you would have extra days in Cusco if you pick Cusco Stay and 1 extra day if you book Lares Trek. The group then meets back up at Machu Picchu.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
