Is it possible to skip or substitute somewhere else for the Koyasan stay on the Japan Real Food Adventure? Husband is not able to sleep on the floor.

Unfortunately, since our group tours are sold as a package we are not able to substitute any portion of it. If you wanted to stay elsewhere it would be at your own cost and we would not be able to deduct the Koyasan stay from the cost.

Are there air-conditioned accommodations?

Air conditioning is available at some Ryokans, but not all; please check specifically for your accommodations.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated during meals?

While we will assist with dietary needs, many included meals are fixed and cannot be modified.

Is assistance provided for luggage transfers?

We recommend arranging luggage transfers from Kyoto to Osaka, which costs around 3000 yen.

Is there a single supplement for travelers?

Currently, there is no single supplement available for this trip due to limited room options.

My favourite experiences on this trip were the fresh sushi from the Tokyo fish markets, the make-your-own takoyaki in Osaka, and the all-you-can-eat shabu shabu in Kyoto! Would definitively recommend trying some umeshu 'on the rocks' as nice sweet addition to a meal :) It was a shame we only got one day in Osaka compared to the 3 in Kyoto, which i assume is because of the timing on the railway passes, it made it a bit of a annoyance to travel to the airport in Osaka, so definitively would suggest staying at least an extra day there before flying out to see a bit more of the city. And if travelling solo, remember google maps got you covered for your train+fair info! PS. Early September temperature was around 30+C for the duration of the trip.Show more

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
