Is this a private guided tour?

This G Adventures group trip is accompanied by one of our group leaders, otherwise known as a Chief Experience Officer (CEO). The CEO will be the group manager, leader and driver - this person is experienced in the routes travelled and will organize and lead the meal preparations and has experience in cooking a variety of local and international dishes for large groups. As the group coordinator and manager, the aim of the CEO is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. While not being guides in the traditional sense, you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the countries visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. They will also offer suggestions for things to do and to see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. We also use local guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting - we think it's the best of both worlds.

I am going scuba diving on the GBR from May 22-27, 2025. I would like to plan a trip ending a couple days before May 22 or after May 27 along the eastern coast of Australia lasting 5 10 12 days in a group. I am in my mid 60's and am in good shape (no trouble hiking/walking/scuba diving etc). I have a very flexible budget and would like to see some of the big cities there. I've toured with G adventures5 years ago in Costa Rica. Do you have anything for me?

What are the age limitations for the Brisbane to Cairns tour?

Due to age limitations, not all tours are suitable for all ages. Specific age restrictions depend on the tour.

How long does it take to confirm a booking?

Booking confirmation can take 3-4 business days as it depends on local operations' confirmation.

Does age matters? And on a light side , I am also looking for a partner/ a friend. Does age matters?

We have trips that cater for 18-39 year olds, and we also have trips that cater to everyone over 18 years old.

What are the luggage recommendations for the tour?

A day-pack for daily essentials and a medium-sized suitcase or backpack is recommended. Space is limited, so heavy luggage is discouraged.

Is the accommodation on the tour shared?

Yes, accommodation involves multi-share arrangements, potentially including dormitory-style rooms for the group.

Is it possible there is a way I can join?

Im sorry but we have a strict age limit on this trip and we are unable to accept travellers over 39 years. We do have our Best of Australia trip which has a similar itinerary and is open to anyone over 18.

Can baggage be dropped off early at the hotel?

Baggage can be left at the hotel if you arrive before the check-in time.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
