    Because the tour departs very early on the first day, a pre-night in London is required. This means you should plan to arrive in London on September 2 (landing on September 1 would be even more comfortable if you want extra rest or sightseeing before the tour). On the final day, the group returns to the London hotel at approximately 18:30 on September 12. Since this is in the evening, a post-night stay is required. You should therefore plan to book your flight back to the US on September 13 to avoid any issues with late arrival and check-out timing. Preferred arrival/departure airports: London: London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW). As for the luggage allowance, a single bag with size: 29"x20"x10" (73x50x25cm), weight: 44 lbs. (20kg) is permitted. Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one piece per person, not exceeding 12"x11"x6" (30x28x14cm) to fit under your coach seat or in the small overhead compartment.

    If you're referring to the UK's Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), then yes, under UK law, anyone entering or transiting through Great Britain or Northern Ireland who passes through border control must obtain an ETA before traveling. For this standard version of this tour, accommodation is in multi-share rooms, with up to 8 travelers of the same gender sharing (in hostels or hotels).     We do not provide itineraries with exact timings. The tour will start approximately 04:45 to 06:45 then the tour will end approximately 18:30. Please note that pre and post-accommodation are required in London. Travellers meet at London Royal National Hotel courtyard, followed by ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. Arrival at Amsterdam hotel early evening. Due to restrictions imposed by the French authorities travellers cannot join a trip in Calais. Travellers are asked to meet in the courtyard of the Royal National Hotel where they will find a Contiki staff member or their Contiki Trip Manager at the designated time. Travellers are advised to be at the courtyard 30 minutes prior to departure time.

    For this tour, travelers will meet at the London Royal National Hotel courtyard. From there, the group will continue with a ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. Because the London departure time is quite early, approximately between 04:45-06:45, a pre-tour hotel stay in London is required to ensure you can join the group on time. This can either be arranged through us or booked independently.

    Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring guests to be between 18-35 years old to participate. As you are outside this age range, you would not be eligible to join the trip. We have several sister brands that offer fantastic travel experiences from 5 years old and above age restrictions, which may be a perfect fit for you: Trafalgar and Costsaver.
