  Our trip started out with a bit of a hiccup. The first guide we had thought we were on a different tour. He was able to make some phone calls and found out where our guide was. Raid saved the day! Our local guide of Rome gave us some wrong advice as to how to enter the Imperial Forum. We all stood in line to be told to go to a different entrance. By this time it would not have been enough time to tour the forum (40 minutes is not enough time to begin with!). Some people were quite unhappy so the guide showed us the correct entrance and we were given another 40 minutes to see the forum. Day 3 we set off for Nice. We were surprised to find we were the only English speaking members of the tour. It made if difficult to get to know the fellow passengers, and they tended to all speak at once when Ricardo was speaking to us. Our bus driver Joel was a phenomenal driver! He manouvered down narrow streets and switchbacks with ease! We met up with Ignacio who was our interpreter for the rest of the tour and he was very attentive and personable. All the hotels were great! I have never seen such large rooms in Europe! They were usually away from the city and did make it difficult to find places to eat when we arrived at the hotel later at night. I recommend eating a larger lunch and packing snacks for this situation. With this tour we got to see off the beaten path medieval villages and cathedrals I had never heard of. I loved visiting the charming squares and cafes in these towns. We are looking forward to booking another tour for next year. Our only complaint was the noise on the bus. Phones should be in silent mode and people need to be considerate and use ear buds.Show more

  Pretty much delivers what they advertised, though huge crowds & lines at the Vatican in Rome & Versaille (King Louis-Chateau) near Paris, canceled any chance to get in either place (we were forwarned on pre-trip Tour-Radar description & on the tour). The multiple tour 'guides' were well trained, organized, & vry Friendly, though their thick accents & not often complete english grammar was often 'unpleasant', made Worse by one whose voice sounded hoarse thruout trip & who spoke TOO CLOSE/ie too Loud, to her microphone. Otherwise, a great trip & good Job by the Tour/bus Co. The early & at times 'tight' Schedule day to day & hr to hr. caused typical stress at times & was tough on our older 'group' (66 to 75). ALL of us ended up with bad Colds within a day of departure which sadly continued throughout the trip & days thereafter. If over 70, you'd better be in Vry Rested/excellent shape, or these busy bus tour trips will Kick your butt!!Show more

  The tour guide from Rome to Paris was good, the first guide in Rome not so much. Buses were good quality and the hotels also okay. Generally it was quite unexpected that there were not more options to add to the tour (e.g. a wine tasting in Burgandy) also at least one or two dinners together as a group would have been nice. The overall communication and getting information also to my daugther who organised this for me, was extremely difficult at times. The lack of organisation is exemplified by the fact that I was informed at 8:30pm that I was to meet in the hotel lobby (after I asked about what was happening the next day) at 6:30am the next morning, as I was apparently being transferred to another tour (i.e., going to Paris, not Florence and onwards as other people from the first day were). Completely disorganised. Unfortunately then, I would not recommend this tour company to others.Show more

  For our first post-covid vacation, our family of four wanted to see several major sites in France and Italy in a short amount of time, but as native English speakers we felt intimidated to tackle the itinerary on our own. We researched several tour providers before choosing Europamundo for the itinerary, available dates and price and I'm thrilled with the vacation experience we shared. Yes, an itinerary that includes 4 countries in 7 days is fast paced, and traveling with a large, international, tour group is a little challenging at times, but it can also be really fun, it depends on your perspective. During the research process, we learned that you can request a detailed itinerary ahead of booking from Europamundo, we'd suggest doing that and making sure the timetable makes sense for your travel goals. We loved our tour 'Familia', the Guides, Esperanza, Julio, Jorge and Amanda, and brave drivers Pedro and Lau. They taught us a lot about the local area and sites, and kept us oriented and on time throughout the journey. We also really loved that we got to travel with families from Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Guatemala, Brazil, Spain, India and Mexico, on our tour! As far as the accommodations, we found the hotels to be as expected. One was a little fancy, one lacked hot water (in an ancient building during a gas shortage - not ideal, but not unexpected) in general all accommodations were comparable to a Holiday Inn or a nice Best Western.Show more
