This was my second trip to Japan, and I sought out a tour that would take me to new places I hadn't been to in my prior visit. This tour accomplished that, and went to a few places I had been to before but wished to visit again. Unlike other tours where additional excursions are optional, this tour included plenty of places each day to maximize your tour value. This tour was a bilingual Spanish group, and the English speakers were in the minority. My prior experience of studying Spanish in high school and general exposure to the language where I live tested my knowledge to compare the Spanish tour lectures with the English lectures. I appreciated Europamundo's solo traveler price model. I signed up for the option to possibly be paired with another solo traveler of the same gender in my hotel room bookings, in order to reduce the solo traveler fees. I got lucky in that there was no one else to pair with me, so I got to enjoy a hotel room to myself without having to pay the extra cost of traveling solo. I enjoy taking these tours to experience places I'd have never heard of before from travel influencers. I'm keeping track of the places I'd like to spend more time in a future visit outside of a tour. My recommendation is to research the seasonal weather for when you plan to book, as well as local holidays. My tour ended in the middle of a Japanese holiday week, so that impacted how busy many places we visited were. I also was not prepared for the end of summer heat and humidity, as well as the typhoon season. If you're comfortable with listening to lectures in Spanish on the bus, Europamundo is a good value tour to book with.Show more
