      I am a dual US / Turkish citizen in possession of both US and Turkish passports. I'd like to use my Turkish passport for Kazakhstan Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. I'd like to use my US passport in Tajikistan. Because Tajikistan applies visa to Turkish passport, but there is no visa for US passport in Tajikistan. I would be entering and exiting each country with my Turkish passport except Tajikistan where I will be entering and exiting with my US passport. Let me know if this is acceptable.

Several of our itineraries include Turkmenistan as part of a longer route through the region, so the adjusted cost for ending in Khiva would depend on the specific tour and how many days of the Turkmenistan portion would be removed.

      The itinerary includes one overnight stay in a yurt camp in Kyrgyzstan, where only twin accommodation is available. Please note that the yurts are comfortable and equipped with private en-suite bathrooms. A similar arrangement applies at the yurt camp near the Darvaza Crater in Turkmenistan. There, yurts typically accommodate 2–4 people, and bathroom facilities are located outside the yurts. This is a more field-style experience, offering a truly authentic desert stay under the open sky. These are the only exceptions within the program. All other nights along the route will be in clean, comfortable tourist-class hotels.

However, a visa is issued based on a visa invitation approved by the Turkmenistan Migration Service, and we will assist you with this process.

      A Turkmenistan visa can be obtained upon arrival at a land border checkpoint (payment on the spot: approximately $100–$120 per person + PCR test fee of $33 per person). However, a visa is issued based on a visa invitation approved by the Turkmenistan Migration Service, and we will assist you with this process.

      To proceed, we will need the following documents from you:
      • A scanned color copy of your passport (high quality)
      • A recent passport-sized photo
      • A completed application form

      Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure from the region.

      We will submit the visa invitation request for the entire group 30 days before the tour starts. The approval process takes approximately three weeks. Once the visa invitation is ready, we will send you a scanned copy, which you will need to print and present to immigration officials upon arrival to obtain your visa.

      Accommodation Information:
      The itinerary includes one overnight stay in a yurt camp in Kyrgyzstan, where only twin accommodation is available. Due to the limited number of yurts, single occupancy cannot be provided at this property. You will therefore share a twin room with another participant of the same gender from your group. The yurts are comfortable and equipped with private en-suite bathrooms.

      A similar arrangement applies at the yurt camp near the Darvaza Crater in Turkmenistan. There, yurts typically accommodate 2–4 people, and bathroom facilities are located outside the yurts. This is a more field-style experience, offering a truly authentic desert stay under the open sky.

      These are the only exceptions within the program. All other nights along the route will be in clean, comfortable tourist-class hotels.

      Additional Expenses for This Trip:

      The first day schedule of the tour itinerary is a little confusing. The tour starts at Bishkek in the morning, assuming we all have to arrive at Bishkek in the early morning on that day. Suppose people usually arrive on the day before the tour starts, and meet your representatives at the airport.

      Regarding meals, only some meals are included in the program. All other lunches and dinners are at your own choice and can be paid on the spot. In Turkmenistan, payments are usually made in cash (your guide will assist with exchanging USD into local currency), while in the other countries both cash and credit cards are generally accepted.

      The PCR procedure in Turkmenistan is mostly formal - there is no quarantine. After the test, you will be able to continue your journey as planned.

      In recent years, there have been no issues with visa invitations for Turkmenistan - they are issued as expected.

      The city tour starts on Day 1 at 10:00 in Bishkek. You may arrive either early in the morning on Day 1 with an immediate hotel check-in OR one day in advance followed by a standard hotel check-in from 14:00. If you arrive early on the previous day and wish to check in immediately, an additional night will need to be booked.
