Good tour with many impressions, and a bit slower pace than other itineraries, bringing you e.g. through Dades Gorge and stopping in some less-known spots. Highlight for sure is Merzouga and the stay in the camp there. Keep tipping culture in mind, in most stops some tipping is expected and a local guide is recommended. The best part of traveling through Morocco is seeing how dramatically the scenery and atmosphere change from one destination to another. Busy markets give way to mountain roads, traditional villages, and eventually the wide-open Sahara Desert. The camel trek at sunset was a highlight, while the historic streets of Fes offered an entirely different kind of experience. Chefchaouen was beautiful and relaxing, making it a lovely contrast to the larger cities. Explore Adventures Morocco provided an itinerary filled with cultural attractions and scenic stops.
