This was a brilliantly organised tour from start to finish. The itinerary was well-paced. We covered a huge amount of ground without ever feeling rushed. Travel days were smooth, and the mix of high-speed trains and private transfers made getting between cities comfortable and efficient. The hotels were very well chosen and of such a high standard: centrally located, comfortable, with great wifi, excellent breakfasts, and helpful staff. Food was another highlight. The restaurants ranged from elegant local spots to relaxed traditional settings, giving a great introduction to Uzbek cuisine. We enjoyed everything from beautifully presented multi-course meals to hands-on food experiences, and there was always plenty of variety and lots of regional dishes to try. Timing throughout the trip was spot on. Early starts were balanced with downtime, and we never felt hurried at major sites. There was also enough free time built in to explore independently or simply rest. Overall, this tour had an excellent balance between structure and flexibility. It’s a fantastic option for anyone who wants to see the highlights of Uzbekistan without the stress of planning transport, tickets, and logistics themselves. Our local guide was knowledgeable, approachable, and great at bringing the history to life, whether we were standing in Registan Square in Samarkand or wandering through the lanes of Bukhara. Travelling with a small group also added to the experience. It was lovely to share those big “wow” moments, especially in places like Shah-i-Zinda and Khiva, with like-minded people. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a rich, well-rounded introduction to Uzbekistan with the reassurance of everything being smoothly arranged.
