Itinerary
- Day 1
Salta
You'll land in Salta and get transferred to your hotel to settle in. After dropping your bags, the afternoon is dedicated to the colonial center with a guide showing you around the Cathedral and San Francisco Church. Then you'll spend some time at Plaza 9 de Julio, which is the heart of the city. Later, head up Cerro San Bernardo on the cable car for views out over the Lerma Valley before heading back for dinner.

Salta
This day is yours to spend however you'd like around Salta. You can wander through the charming streets, check out local markets, and find colonial corners on your own. If the train experience sounds appealing, there's an optional full-day Train to the Clouds tour available. It starts with an early pickup, then traditional breakfast in El Alfarcito, followed by a train journey that climbs above 4,200 meters to La Polvorilla Viaduct. You'll also visit an Andean village before returning to the city.

Quebrada de Humahuaca
You're traveling through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with stops at several important spots. First, see Purmamarca and the Hill of Seven Colors, then move on to Tilcara to explore its ancient fortress. During the drive, you'll cross the Tropic of Capricorn at Huacalera and view the Archangel Warrior paintings in Uquía. Later, walk through Humahuaca's cobblestone streets and check out the artisan markets. The day finishes at the Painter's Palette natural formation before heading back.

Take a relaxed morning at your hotel and enjoy the final moments of Salta before checkout. After that, you'll transfer to Salta Airport for your departure.
