Sri Lanka is a great country with lots of things to see and do. The weather was really good during our trip, and the service at the hotel and on all the tours we joined was very professional. The culture is rich and quite different from Europe, which made the trip even more interesting and memorable. I would definitely recommend visiting Sri Lanka, especially if you haven’t been before. Lahiru’s organization was excellent. The lodges we stayed in were high-quality and had great facilities. The management and staff knew Lahiru well and took very good care of us. The safari was also amazing. The drivers were very experienced and knew exactly where and when to go, so we were able to see lots of animals. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.Show more

Wonderful wildlife and fantastic scenery in Wilpattu. The lodge we stayed in was excellent, with good food and a very comfortable stay. Our guide, Wasantha, really made the holiday one to remember. He had great knowledge and was very well organised, which made everything run smoothly. The drivers in each national park also did a great job and made sure we saw Sri Lanka’s Big 5 and much more. The sunrise balloon ride in Kandalama was fantastic, we had a great experience. The private boat tour to see whales was also great. We really appreciated our boat driver for keeping a good distance while still showing us the whales. We saw lots of dolphins up close, they were coming very close to the boat. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this tour.Show more

Our experience was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this tour and Roar & Rove to anyone and everyone. Our driver/guide Wasantha was fantastic, super friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and helpful. We made a great friendship with Wasantha. The lodging choices were great; we loved them all. The staff at all of the places were fantastic. We especially liked the Cinnamon Lodge and the Radisson Blu. The restaurants were great, and we loved the bar staff. The hot air balloon ride was the highlight of our trip. The ride itself was amazing, but we also loved the breakfast and champagne afterwards. We saw all of the major animals and more. we were shocked at all of the wildlife; they were everywhere. Working with you and the booking staff was super easy and seamless, and it made the experience even better.Show more

We went with Roar & Rove. They are really good you can trust them. We did a 15-day tour, which included 14 overnight stays. We spent the last 3 days in the Hikkaduwa area, and 5 days were in national parks like Yala and Wilpattu (2 days each), as well as Horton Plains and Minneriya. The game drives lasted from early morning to sundown, except for the time needed for transfers. We had a perfect guide and saw many animals. The cook prepared delicious meals, which were kept warm and served at noon in picnic spots. really good and more than enough. The accommodations were first class. In Wilpattu and Yala, we stayed in typical high-end lodges that had every comfort. The van used for travelling was also comfortable and spacious, and again, we had a great guide. We travelled at the end of January and had perfect weather. We’ve used some big companies in other countries especially for safaris. For example, we used a well-known company for our Tanzania safari, but they didn’t deliver an excellent service for us. Roar & Rove were affordable and provided excellent service.Show more

We had an amazing safari tour with Roar & Rove. Everything was well organized from start to finish, including smooth airport pick-up and drop-off. One of the highlights was the sunrise hot air balloon ride in Kandalama. such a beautiful and peaceful experience with incredible views. We also really enjoyed the whale watching tour on a private boat, which made the experience feel extra special and comfortable. Our guide was excellent throughout the tour. friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The hotels selected for us were high quality, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The safaris were unforgettable, with a great team of trackers who helped us spot amazing wildlife. Overall, it was a perfectly planned tour with a great mix of adventure and comfort. We highly recommend Roar & Rove for anyone looking for a special safari experience in Sri Lanka.Show more

Perfect weather in January, with animals at the water holes. Roar & Rove arranged an excellent itinerary, luxury accommodation, and a very comfortable van and driver. Perfect for seeing a variety of wildlife and scenery. All the Sri Lankan people were so friendly and helpful, with wonderful, fresh, tasty food. After the safari, it was perfect to have a beachside holiday to enjoy the sea, sand, local people, and wildlife. Definitely recommend this itinerary with their selected high-end hotels for a wonderful safari experience in Sri Lanka.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Roar and Rove. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
