Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana
A Drive Albania representative will pick you up at Tirana Airport and take you to your hotel in central Tirana. At 18:00, meet in the hotel reception and walk to a nearby restaurant for your welcome dinner.

- Day 2
Tirana to Ohrid
Starting at 09:00, you'll join a walking tour through central Tirana with a visit to the House of Leaves museum, which covers the Communist-era Sigurimi secret police. Around 12:00, you'll begin driving east with a lunch stop along the way. You should arrive in Ohrid by 17:00. If you're interested, the tour leader can join you for dinner that evening, but it's optional.

- Day 3
Ohrid to Korca
At 09:00, take a 2-hour walking tour of this UNESCO city. Around 11:00, you'll head east on a scenic road toward Lake Prespa, crossing the border back into Albania. After lunch, you can swim in Lake Prespa before the short drive to Korca. The tour leader can join you for dinner if you'd like, though it's not required.

- Day 4
Korca to Permet
You'll have a walking tour of Korca, a really interesting small city in the region. Plan to leave by 12:00 for a lunch stop in Erseke, Albania's highest town. The scenery gets quite dramatic as you drive west along the Greek border. You'll arrive in Permet with optional dinner available with the tour leader.

Permet
This is a free day in Permet where you can choose how to spend your time. Options include rafting on the river Vjosa, e-biking, gentle hiking, or food-focused activities. Your tour leader can help you decide and make arrangements, though early booking is recommended for e-biking. Dinner with the tour leader is available if you want it.

Landmarks River Vjosa - Day 6
Permet to Gjirokastra
You'll drive south through Këlcyrë Gorge for about an hour and a half before reaching Gjirokastra. Rather than tackling the steep walk up on foot, you'll take a vehicle to the fortress. Once there, you can explore the large fortress complex that Ali Pasha built back during the Napoleonic era.

- Day 7
Gjirokastra to Libohove
Heading out at 09:00, you'll drive toward the coast on the new road and skip Saranda entirely. Instead, you'll go straight to Butrint Lagoon for a small boat tour that includes a tasting of mussels and a light lunch with three different preparations. Later in the afternoon, you'll walk through Butrint Archaeological Park when it's quieter. By 16:30, you'll head inland through scenic routes to a small village in rural Gjirokastra County.

Libohove to Riviera
After leaving at 09:30, you'll travel one of the most beautiful routes on the tour. You'll stop a few times along the way and have lunch high up in the Kurvelesh mountains. From there, you'll head down toward the coast and arrive around 16:00.

Riviera
This day is set aside for relaxing on the Riviera. Your tour leader can take you on a hike to Llogora National Park if that sounds good, but other activities can be arranged based on what you'd prefer if hiking or beaches aren't really your thing.

Riviera to Berat
You'll leave the coast behind and travel inland to check out Bylis archaeological park, a wonderful site that doesn't get many visitors. After that, you'll continue on to Berat, your final UNESCO city. Once you settle into your hotel, you'll take a relaxed walking tour around the ancient citadel once it cools down in the evening.

- Day 11
Berat to Kruja
You'll arrive in Kruja in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Then you'll explore the old town and see the museum dedicated to Skanderbeg, Albania's national hero. Some free time allows you to walk through Kruja's famous bazaar, which is the best place in Albania to pick up gifts. At 19:00, everyone gathers for a farewell dinner with views out toward the Adriatic.

Kruja to Tirana
The minivan heads back to Tirana at 09:30. If you're catching a flight today, a transfer to the airport can be arranged, which takes roughly 35 minutes.
