First of all Jennifer, my main point of contact has been super attentive and professional all the way, addressing every question prior and during my trip and always available. The tour itself was fabulous, all the local guides were knowledgeable and really made the most to make me and the rest of the group enjoy each single destination we visited. Special thanks to Lili, Regina,Mei,Julie,Michelle!! I was also lucky enough to travel with a fantastic bunch of people! We had a great time with TCT, the guides were great - and the experience was amazing. We actually formed some long term friendships for the future which was amazing. Really the only feedback we would have is to ensure that on all transfers (train/flight) they should make sure you are next to your significant other, we got separated on one because they didn't pre-book it. Other than that highly recommend and China is a must see, totally different experience/world then what you were told and is a MUST.Show more

The whole trip was really exciting and organized. Local guides (Sisi, Summer, Tiffany) were very good, especially David which is an angel to us all. The itinerary covered the major points of interest in China within the short 14-day schedule. Chinese food that were included were really good. The local guides went out of their way to accommodate some of our needs outside of the tour schedule. Top China Travel (TCT - tour operator) did a very good job of coordinating the daily activities, especially if there are concerns from the group member. Jennifer of TCT was really excellent in coordinating the whole trip. Given the time difference with where she is from, she responds to my email as soon as she gets the chance. Jennifer is really proactive and responded very quickly to resolve issues especially when there were concerns from the group members. Me and my two sisters enjoyed the tour.Show more

  We have it on May 6. The Tibet Travel Permit will be applied about 15 days before your arrival. You'd better take the altitude sickness into consideration while planning to visit Tibet.

  As far as I know, foreigners are only allowed to take organized tours in Tibet. Would it be a problem for obtaining the Tibet Travel Permit if I spent a day in Lhasa on my own before the tour started?

  Our confirmed date of the group tour are starting on May, 6, May, 8, May, 25 and June, 15. The altitude of Lhasa and Lake Yamdrok is not very high, and most of the travelers can get used to it soon. It is better to get the Tibet Travel Permit for the date of the group tour.

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Top China Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
