- Day 1
Barr
You'll arrive in Barr, a wine village surrounded by vineyards and wooded hills. After settling into your accommodation, take some time to walk through the cobbled streets where you'll see colorful half-timbered houses lining the way. This evening, head to a traditional winstub for dinner and try some regional Alsatian cuisine.

Landmarks Barr - Day 2
Barr - Andlau - Itterswiller - Saint-Hippolyte
Start the day hiking through classic Alsatian wine country on vineyard paths that connect small villages. You'll pass through Andlau, where there's a Romanesque abbey and more of those characteristic half-timbered houses. From there, continue uphill to Itterswiller, sitting on a hilltop with nice views and flower-lined streets. Later in the afternoon, a transfer takes you to Saint-Hippolyte where you'll stay for the next two nights.

Saint-Hippolyte - Thannenkirch - Ribeauvillé
This morning you'll hike along quiet vineyard paths and through wooded sections heading toward Ribeauvillé, a medieval town at the foot of the Vosges Mountains. Once there, check out the Three Castles ruins (Saint-Ulrich Castle and Giersberg Castle are the main ones) where you can see panoramic views over the vineyards below. Later, walk through the cobblestone streets and stop for lunch or dinner at a traditional winstub serving wood-fired tarte flambée.

Ribeauvillé - Riquewihr - Kaysersberg
Another hiking day through Alsatian landscapes and wine villages, starting from Ribeauvillé and moving through Riquewihr, a medieval town with well-preserved half-timbered houses. You'll then head to Kaysersberg, a nice village situated in a verdant valley with impressive historic buildings. By the end of the day, enjoy a local blueberry tart paired with either Gewürztraminer or late-harvest Riesling.

Your tour wraps up this morning after breakfast in Kaysersberg. When you're ready to leave, a public bus connection can take you to Colmar, and from there you'll have onward travel options to Strasbourg and Paris.
