I made a reservation for Feb 15th and it got declined, with no explanation of why and what dates you have available. If I book for Feb 16th or 17th do you have space?

My review should be divided in two. My guide was superb. He was a kind, knowledgeable, wise alpinist. He loves what he does and anyone planning to ascend Toubkal should use him. That said, TourRadar did not sell my journey as advised or expected. I specifically requested a three day journey as, living at sea level, I needed at a day in between the hike from Imlil to refuge and from refuge to summit. That was not offered. We climbed to the refuge, slept a bit and started again at 3AM. My body had no time to recover and the summit push was unpleasant. We then turned around and hiked back to Imlil. Your company offered a beautiful guest house for the night. However, I needed rest during the trek - not after. We enjoyed this trek. We walked 4 to 6 hours each day with around 600 to 700m ascent and descent each day. The mountain scenery was beautiful and the trek went through real mountain villages where people lived and worked. It was a priveliged insight into their way of life and truly off the beaten track. It was very quiet and peaceful and stilled my mind. Accommodation, with the notable exception of the beautiful Amazigh Family Riad in Imlil, was basic. This wasn"t under control of Amazigh Voyage. We were taken good care of by our guide and muleteer/chef. Our guide was quiet but he answered our questions fully. Our meals were huge, we never went hungry and we loved all the tea and the pre dinner popcorn. Meals were similar though and got repetitive and more basic towards the end. There were some changes made to the itinerary which weren't fully explained and only became apparent as we were walking. However, it all worked out and changes were made so we were happy and we appreciated this. It turned out that the whole trek was very flexible and we could have changed plans as we went but we didn't realise this until the very end. The itinerary and daily plans could have been made clearer to us. However, we were carefully and sensitively guided through stunning mountain scenery and quiet villages and we felt safe and taken care of the whole time.Show more
