Itinerary
- Day 1
Bastia to Calvi
Your cycling adventure kicks off in Bastia heading west, and right away you'll climb Col de Teghime where the views open up over the Bay of St-Florent below. After that, you pass through Patrimonio's wine region and cross into St-Florent itself. The terrain shifts to the Corsican desert landscape as you ride toward the northwest coast, hitting small villages scattered through Balagne before arriving in Calvi for the night.

- Day 2
Calvi to Porto
Today follows the coast with clear water visible below and a couple of serious climbs on the agenda: Col de Palmarella and Col de la Croix. You'll wind through remote villages and eventually roll into Porto, where you can see its old Genoese tower. If you're taking the longer route option, there's a push up to Calanche de Piana and its red rocky landscape that dominates the views.

- Day 3
Porto to Vivario
Leaving Porto behind, you'll ride into the Spelunca gorges with steep walls surrounding you, then enter the Aïetone forest. The big climb is Col de Vergio, which happens to be the highest road pass on the island, so pace yourself. From there it's a wild descent down Scala Santa Regina with all those switchbacks. After that technical section, you cross through Corte and continue on to Vivario.

- Day 4
Vivario to Propriano
Start with Col de Vizzavona and enjoy a quick drop before climbing to Col de Scalella. The route winds through tiny villages where you can see hints of prehistoric history. By evening, you're settled at your accommodation overlooking Propriano's bay, which is perfect for grabbing a drink and watching the sunset after cycling all day.

Propriano to Zicavo
You'll ride through the Alta Rocca region with its old villages, olive groves, and traditional mills scattered around. From Zonza, if you're a stronger rider, Col de Bavella is there waiting with fantastic views of the Bavella needles. The route then rolls more gently through Col de la Vaccia before dropping down to Zicavo.

Zicavo to Corte
Three climbs are on the menu today: Col de Verde, then Col de Sorba where you ride through the Verde forest and get nice views, followed by an easier third pass. The descents are long and winding with good pavement quality. Everything eventually points downhill toward Corte, Corsica's historic capital.

Corte to Castagniccia - Bastia
Your final cycling stage takes you deep into Castagniccia's villages, an area filled with ancient chapels, natural water sources, and old chestnut trees throughout. Watch for local birds of prey like the Milan Royal soaring overhead. The route gradually reaches the east coast near Bastia, leaving time to clean up before your airport transfer.
