Edinburgh
You'll arrive in Edinburgh and head to your hotel to get settled. From there, the rest of the day is yours to wander around this historic Scottish capital at your own pace. Whether you want to relax at the hotel or start exploring right away, it's completely up to you.

Edinburgh
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll join a local guide for a panoramic tour of Edinburgh. The walk takes you through the UNESCO World Heritage center with medieval streets, elegant gardens, and the famous castle. In the afternoon, you have free time to check out museums, walk the Royal Mile, or grab coffee at one of the city's cafes.

Edinburgh - Stirling - Pitlochry - Inverness
Following breakfast, you'll head north from Edinburgh. First stop is The Kelpies, those dramatic horse sculptures, which are great for photos. Then you'll visit Stirling Castle (admission's included), followed by a drive through Scotland's whisky region with a lunch stop in Pitlochry. Later, you'll see the Culloden battlefield before arriving in Inverness by late afternoon.

Inverness - Fort Augustus - Loch Ness - Inverness
Today takes you into the Scottish Highlands with Eilean Donan Castle (admission included), situated where three lochs meet. You'll stop in Fort Augustus to see the Caledonian Canal's locks and have lunch. The afternoon includes a scenic boat ride on Loch Ness and a visit to Urquhart Castle ruins. If tickets are available, you'll finish with a stop at a traditional whisky distillery in Inverness.

Glasgow - Belfast - Dublin
You'll have breakfast in Glasgow, then head south through Scotland to catch a ferry at Cairnryan port. From there, you continue into the Republic of Ireland, arriving in Dublin by evening with time to explore on your own.

Dublin
Start with a good breakfast, then head out on a sightseeing tour through Dublin. You'll walk along the River Liffey's banks, check out parks and the old university, and wander through the downtown streets. Trinity College is the main stop here, where you get to see the Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript Gospel book created by Celtic monks around 800 AD. It's one of Ireland's most important national treasures and worth the time. The afternoon is all yours to explore whatever interests you at your own pace.

You'll stop at the Rock of Cashel, a medieval fortress on a limestone outcrop that symbolizes Irish resistance. You'll reach Cork by mid-afternoon with time to see the city center.

Then it's on to Killarney with lunch and a horse and carriage tour of the national park, visiting Ross Castle and taking a short lake cruise. A quick stop in Adare shows you picturesque thatched-roof cottages and abbey ruins before you arrive in Limerick by mid-afternoon.

The drive through Burren National Park's dramatic landscapes brings you to Galway.

Later, you'll travel to Clonmacnoise for lunch and visit its monastic ruins, a 1,400-year-old monastic center. The return journey to Dublin gets you there by late afternoon.
