Oslo
You'll arrive in Oslo and head to your hotel at your own pace. After you settle in, the rest of the day is open for you to get comfortable and start exploring Norway's capital on your own terms.

- Day 2
Oslo to Stavanger
Make your way to Oslo train station and board a scenic train heading south toward Stavanger. The route takes you through forests, lakes, and farmland along Norway's southern coast, so try to sit on the right side for the best views. Once you reach Stavanger, head to your hotel and settle in. By evening, you'll have time to wander around this charming harbour town with its wooden houses and cultural scene.

- Day 3
Stavanger
Join a fjord cruise through Lysefjord on a modern, battery-powered boat. You'll pass under the Lysefjord Bridge and sail past dramatic mountains, including the iconic Preikestolen rising 604 metres above the water, along with striking waterfalls like Hengjanefossen. During spring and summer, you might spot local goats on the mountainsides and wildlife such as sea eagles, seals, and porpoises. The cruise ends back in Stavanger where you have the evening free.

Stavanger to Bergen
After an early breakfast at the hotel, head to Stavanger pier to catch a scenic ferry at 07:30. The 5.5-hour journey takes you along Norway's rugged coastline past pristine nature, islands, and coastal settlements before arriving in Bergen. Check into your hotel there, and your tour leader will meet you along with other travellers joining for the next portion of the trip.

- Day 5
Bergen
Meet a local guide at 10:00 in the hotel reception for a 2-hour walking tour of Bergen, a UNESCO World Heritage City. You'll see the historic Hanseatic Bryggen wharf, the Church of St. Mary, Håkon's Fortress, and the lively Fish Market. The afternoon opens up for relaxation or you can choose between two optional tours: a Fjord Cruise to Mostraumen (about 3 hours, departing 14:00) or the Bergen Food Tour (about 3 hours, departing 15:00, which includes a return ticket on the Floibanen funicular).

Bergen to Balestrand
Take a short transfer to Bergen port or walk there from your hotel, then board the cruise to Balestrand along the Sognefjord, often called The King of Fjords for its size and beauty. When you arrive in Balestrand, it's just a short walk from the port to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and explore before joining the group for dinner.

- Day 7
Balestrand
The day is yours to explore Balestrand independently. If you're interested, an optional Half Day Fjaerland Excursion is available from June 1 to September 15. By boat, you'll see steep mountains, lush landscape, and green fjords, then visit the Norwegian Glacier Museum to watch panoramic films about Jostedalen Glacier and check out exhibitions. From there, travel by coach to see the Supphellebreen and Børyabreen glaciers, then take a scenic boat back to Balestrand.

Balestrand - Flam - Oslo
Continue along the magnificent Sognefjord, known as the King of Norway's fjords and the country's longest waterway. Board a scenic cruise from Balestrand at 11:55, gliding through the 17-kilometre Aurlandsfjord arm of the 204-kilometre-long Sognefjord. You'll arrive in the charming village of Flam early in the afternoon with some free time to look around. Later, board the famous Flamsbana, one of the steepest railway lines in the world. The one-hour journey to Myrdal passes steep cliffs, waterfalls, and through 20 tunnels with great views. From Myrdal, connect to the Bergen Railway for your trip onward to Oslo.

Oslo
Breakfast is served at the hotel before you meet your local guide at 11:00am in the hotel reception. Then you'll depart for a three-hour sightseeing tour of Oslo, the vibrant capital. You'll see Frogner Park with Gustav Vigeland's sculptures, the Royal Palace, City Hall, and the historic Akershus Fortress overlooking the Oslofjord.

Oslo to Stockholm
Your tour leader will take you to the train station to board the high-speed train to Stockholm. Settle in for a comfortable ride through Sweden's scenic countryside on your way to the Swedish capital, which spreads across 14 islands. After you arrive, walk to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace, whether that's strolling through elegant streets, visiting royal palaces, or walking down Drottninggatan (Queen Street) with its shops, cafés, and bars.

- Day 11
Stockholm
Your taxi driver will be waiting at the hotel reception to take you to the small port where your Royal Canal Cruise begins. This relaxing boat tour introduces you to Stockholm and its rich history. Often called the Beauty on Water or the Venice of the North, Stockholm sits across 14 islands surrounded by Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. As you glide along the waterways, you'll see elegant public buildings, grand palaces, and historic museums reflecting over 700 years of heritage. After the cruise, the rest of your day is free to explore Stockholm.
