Vega de Terrón
You'll wake up in Vega de Terrón, right on the Portugal-Spain border. The main choice here is between two different excursions. The other choice is the village of Freixo de Espada à Cinta, where you can visit a silk museum and taste regional products at a local estate before heading back to the ship for lunch. Pocinho to Pinhão
This morning you're in Pocinho, which was the historic ending point of the Douro Railway back in 1887. You have two distinct options to pick from. One takes you to the Côa Valley Museum to see the world's largest open-air Paleolithic rock art site and participate in a prehistoric workshop. The other visits traditional village life in Freixo Numão and the Casa Painova estate, where they make sugared almonds and you can learn about the process. Later in the day, you'll cruise to Pinhão and settle in for the evening.
