- Day 2
Rome to Naples
The day takes you to Naples, where you can take a guided walking tour through Pompeii if you'd like. This ancient city got buried by volcanic ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted, and you can see how life was preserved there. After exploring, you'll head to your hotel near Naples' historic center and have time to wander around and check out the local food scene.

- Day 3
Naples to Amalfi Coast
You're heading to the Amalfi Coast today with a stop at Capri along the way. The island has dramatic cliffs and upscale cafes to browse through. There's an optional boat tour available with swimming stops in turquoise water, then you'll continue on to the Amalfi Coast where pastel-colored towns line the coastline.

Amalfi Coast
Today is yours to do what you want on the Amalfi Coast. You could walk through Positano with its winding streets and white-washed buildings, or check out the town of Amalfi itself. There's an optional visit to a local family's lemon farm if that interests you. Come evening, you can explore on foot, try some local wine, and just take in how people live here.

Amalfi Coast to Rome
You're back in Rome for more of the city's history and to find great photo spots and food. Later in the day, you have the option to join a local chef to make your own pasta from scratch, then sit down and eat what you created.
