London
You'll arrive in London and head to your hotel to check in and settle down. After getting comfortable, stop by the hotel reception in the afternoon where staff can fill you in on what your tour includes and answer any questions.

- Day 2
London
Start with a guided city tour through Westminster, Parliament, the City, and along the Thames to see how it all connects. The afternoon is yours to explore on your own, or you can join an optional trip to Windsor and its castle if that interests you. Later, meet up at Piccadilly for an evening walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho before heading back to the hotel by bus.

London
You have the full day to yourself in London. Wander through different neighborhoods, visit attractions that appeal to you, or find hidden spots you've heard about. It's a good chance to move at your own pace and see what catches your interest.

- Day 4
London to Cambridge - York - Durham
Leave London and head north, stopping in Cambridge to see the beautiful college buildings. From there, continue to York where you'll look at the cathedral, walk along the Roman walls, and have time to explore the shopping streets. The day ends in Durham, a medieval town with a cathedral that sits near the castle.

- Day 5
Durham to Alnwick - Edinburgh
Travel into Scotland with a stop in Alnwick to see its famous gardens and medieval castle from the Harry Potter films. Then arrive in Edinburgh around midday. You'll get a panoramic tour with a local guide covering Scotland's capital, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its castle sitting above steep streets and parks.

- Day 6
Edinburgh to Inverness - Loch Ness - Fort Augustus - Glasgow
Head through the Scottish Highlands starting with coffee and a walk in Pitlochry. Pass by Inverness near Loch Ness, then visit Urquhart Castle and take a boat ride on the loch. Continue past Fort Augustus and Fort William at Ben Nevis's base, then go through high plateaus with views of Loch Lomond before reaching Glasgow by evening. (November 15 to February groups take a different route through a whisky distillery and Stirling Castle.)

- Day 7
Glasgow to Belfast
Leave Glasgow heading south to Cairnryan and board a ferry to Northern Ireland. You'll arrive in Belfast, the capital, and have time to explore on your own. Since the 1998 peace agreement, the city has changed quite a bit. If you're interested, the Titanic Museum is in the historic shipyard where that ship was built.

- Day 8
Belfast to Cushendun - Ballycastle - Giant's Causeway - Derry
After breakfast, pass through Cushendun, a conservation area on the Antrim Coast. Stop in Ballycastle for lunch, then visit the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery in Bushmills on a guided tour. See the Giant's Causeway with its roughly 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns formed about 60 million years ago. Arrive in Derry, a walled city with history and modern elements, where you'll have free time and stay overnight.

- Day 9
Derry to Donegal - Marble Arch - Belfast
Travel through mountain scenery in the Republic of Ireland to Donegal, a lively town with lots of character. Visit the medieval castle with admission included. Head back into Northern Ireland to explore the Marble Arch Caves, one of Europe's remarkable cave systems with over 11 km of passages formed over 330 million years ago. After lunch, continue to Belfast where you'll arrive with free time.

- Day 10
Belfast to Hillsborough Castle - Monasterboice - Dublin
Start near Belfast at Hillsborough Castle, an 18th-century Georgian mansion and official government residence set in woodlands and gardens. After lunch, cross into the Republic of Ireland to visit Monasterboice, a 5th-century monastic settlement known for its tall Celtic crosses, especially Muiredach's Cross. Travel to Kilkenny with lunch time and a walk through this lively town. Continue south to the Rock of Cashel, a medieval fortress tied to Irish history. Arrive in Cork by evening with time for a stroll and dinner included.

Depart for Kinsale, stopping at Charles Fort for ocean views and a look at this 17th-century fortress. Explore Kinsale's historic center, one of Ireland's most beautiful coastal towns. Travel to Killarney with lunch and a walk. Take a romantic horse-drawn carriage tour through the National Park visiting gardens and lakeside Ross Castle, then a short scenic lake cruise. Stop in Adare to see charming stone and thatched-roof cottages and abbey ruins. Arrive mid-afternoon in Limerick with time to check out the city center, castle, river, cathedral, or shopping. Liverpool to Chester - Lichfield - Birmingham

Stop for lunch in Lichfield, a picturesque town with cobbled streets and historic buildings, highlighted by its medieval cathedral with three spires. Continue to Birmingham, the UK's second-largest city and an Industrial Revolution hub. Check out the town hall area and the extensive canal network now lined with restaurants and entertainment.

Birmingham to Stratford - Stow-on-the-Wold - Gloucester - Bath
Leave for Stratford, a historic city from the 12th century on the River Avon and William Shakespeare's birthplace. You can visit his birthhouse if you want. Travel through nice scenery to Stow-on-the-Wold, a charming village with stone houses, a picturesque square, art galleries, and antique shops. Continue to Gloucester with lunch time at the lively docks and time to explore the historic center with its grand cathedral where some Harry Potter scenes were filmed. End the day in Bath, famous for its hot springs and Georgian architecture, with an optional visit to the Roman baths.
