Itinerary
- Day 1
Berlin - Dresden - Bamberg - Nuremberg
This morning you'll head to Dresden and walk through the palace overlooking the River Elbe. After that, the route continues into Bavaria where you'll stop in Bamberg and see its charming Little Venice district. By evening you'll arrive in Nuremberg, the second-largest city in Bavaria, where there's a lot of historical significance to explore.

- Day 2
Nuremberg - Kloster Weltenburg - Dachau - Munich
From Kelheim you'll board a boat that takes you through the Danube Gorge to Kloster Weltenburg, an 11th-century Benedictine monastery with beautiful surroundings. Later you'll visit the Dachau concentration camp museum, then continue to Munich. Once in Munich, check out BMW Welt to see the exhibition facility and the Olympiastadion from 1972. The afternoon and evening give you free time to walk around the historic center where you can visit Marienplatz, browse the Viktualienmarkt market, spend time in Englischer Garten, or try some traditional beer houses.

- Day 3
Munich - Füssen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
You'll travel to Füssen and Neuschwanstein Castle surrounded by alpine scenery. A bus will take you to Mary's Bridge where you can see the gorge views, and you can either walk back down or hire a horse carriage for an extra cost. From there the route follows the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a walled city where you'll visit the Christmas Museum. By evening you'll finish in Frankfurt, Germany's financial capital.

- Day 4
Frankfurt - Rhine Valley - Cologne - Dortmund
Today focuses on the Rhine and Moselle valleys. You'll start with a boat cruise on the Rhine between Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, which is the most beautiful section of the river. During lunch you'll stop in Cochem, a charming village on the Rhine with a castle that's over a thousand years old perched above it. Then you'll continue to Cologne to see the impressive 154-meter-tall Gothic cathedral and have time to explore the city center and walk along the Rhine. By evening you'll reach your hotel in Dortmund.

- Day 5
Dortmund - Fairy Tale Route - Hannover
This journey follows the Fairy Tale Route through towns connected to the Brothers Grimm stories. You'll visit Trendelburg with its medieval castle and the famous Rapunzel Tower, then pass through forests that inspired Hansel and Gretel tales. Next you'll stop in Höxter to tour Corvey Abbey, a 9th-century World Heritage monastery. Later you'll see Polle and the Cinderella's Castle ruins, then go through Hamelin, which is known for the Pied Piper legend. The day finishes in Hannover where you can stroll near the old town hall.

Hannover - Goslar - Göttingen - Bad Sooden-Allendorf - Eisenach
After breakfast you'll visit the Rammelsberg Mines near Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage silver mining site with a museum included in the tour. Then you'll check out Goslar's medieval old town with half-timbered houses and St. Peter's Church. The route continues to Göttingen, a university town important to the Brothers Grimm, where you'll have lunch and time to explore the historic center. You'll stop in Bad Sooden, a mountain spa town, before finishing in Eisenach, a city with nice Baroque and Renaissance architecture. The Bach House and Luther House are both located here, and dinner is included.

- Day 7
Eisenach - Gotha - Erfurt - Leipzig
Start at Wartburg Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Martin Luther translated the New Testament, with views from high above Eisenach. You'll return to Eisenach and have free time for lunch and exploring on your own, with options like visiting the Bach House where Johann Sebastian Bach was born or checking out the Automobile Museum with vintage vehicles. After that, head to Gotha to see its Baroque palace and charming historic center. Continue to Erfurt, Thuringia's capital, known for its grand cathedral and medieval old town featuring a bridge continuously inhabited for over 500 years. You'll arrive in Leipzig by late afternoon, a vibrant cultural city connected to composers Bach and Wagner.

- Day 8
Leipzig - Dresden - Meissen - Moritzburg - Berlin
Leaving Leipzig, you'll stop at the Monument to the Battle of the Nations, a 91-meter-tall structure from 1913 commemorating a Napoleonic Wars battle. Next, continue to Dresden, Saxony's capital, known for its Baroque and Renaissance architecture, grand palaces, and walks along the Elbe River. Visit Meissen, famous for porcelain made there since the 18th century, with time to stroll and have lunch in the old town. Stop in Moritzburg to see 'Cinderella's Castle' on an island in an artificial lake with nice architecture and gardens. Finally, head to Berlin, arriving around 7:00 p.m. where the journey concludes.
