Itinerary
- Day 1
Paris - Giverny - Rouen - Arromanches - Caen
After leaving Paris in the morning, you'll head toward Normandy with a stop in Giverny to walk through Monet's House and see the gardens. From there, continue to Rouen where you can wander the medieval streets and check out the cathedral, with lunch worked in somewhere along the way. Later in the afternoon, head to the D-Day beaches at Arromanches to see the landing sites. By evening you'll arrive in Caen with free time to explore the city center at your own pace.

- Day 2
Caen - Mont-Saint-Michel - Fougères - Chartres - Paris
Start early heading to Mont-Saint-Michel, where you'll spend time exploring the island city and visiting the abbey. Next, travel to Fougères to walk the medieval cobblestone streets and tour the largest fortress in Europe, then grab lunch before leaving. After that, stop in Chartres to see the Gothic cathedral before the drive back to Paris. You should get back around 8:30 p.m.
