Itinerary
- Day 1
Oberwald/Obergesteln
You'll arrive at Oberwald or Obergesteln on your own, settling into the surrounding area and getting your bearings before the cycling adventure kicks off. This is your time to acclimate and prepare for the journey ahead.
- Day 2
Oberwald to Brig
Start cycling through the high valley where the Rhone is called Rotten, covering about 50 km to reach Brig. By evening, head to the World Nature Forum in nearby Naters to learn about the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch region and get context for the landscape you're riding through.

Brig to Sierre
The main valley opens up as you cycle through sunny Valais with dry mountain slopes. You'll pass between Leuk and Sierre, see a wild section of the Rhone, and walk through the Pfynwald nature reserve on a glacier detritus mound that marks where the region shifts from German to French-speaking areas.

Sierre to Sion
Cycle to Sion, the capital of Valais, where historical castles, churches, and old mansions line the streets. The lower Rhone Valley offers views of the high-alpine Dents du Midi, with fruit orchards and vineyards surrounding everything you see.

Landmarks Dents du Midi - Day 5
Sion to Montreux
Head through high mountains and lowlands toward Montreux. Pass through Martigny with its round tower guarding the Rhone valley's narrowest point, check out St-Maurice and its golden church treasures, and then see Lac Léman hidden behind reeds with Chillon Castle sitting defiantly on the water.

- Day 6
Montreux to Nyon
Cycle alongside Lac Léman, a big silver lake surrounded by snowy peaks and vineyards, going through Vevey, Montreux, and Lausanne (known as Olympia-City). From there, continue through the UNESCO World Heritage terraced vineyards of Lavaux and La Côte where Chasselas grapes grow. Pass market towns like Morges and Rolle, and ride past the castles of Nyon and Prangins.

Nyon to Geneva
Cycle above the terraced La Côte vineyards with views down to Morges, Rolle, and Nyon on the lakeshore. Finish the day reaching Geneva with its villas, yachts, and cosmopolitan feel, spotting the famous 140-meter-high Jet d'eau water fountain that defines the city.

Geneva Departure
Your cycling tour ends in Geneva. From here, you can either depart or stay longer if you'd like to spend more time exploring the city and the surrounding region.
