- Day 1
Koycegiz
You'll arrive at the lakeside town of Koycegiz and check into your hotel right on the shore. Meet your tour leader at 7pm for an initial briefing about what's ahead. After that, you have the option to grab dinner at a nearby restaurant, or if you arrive earlier in the day, there's time to walk along the promenade and stop by some of the lakeside cafes to get a feel for the place.

Landmarks Koycegiz Lake - Day 2
Koycegiz
Start your morning with a traditional Turkish breakfast, then head out on an orientation walk through town with your tour leader that ends down at the lakefront beach. In the afternoon, you'll take a boat across the lake to Sultaniye springs where you can try the famous mud baths and hot sulphur springs. On the return boat journey, there's a BBQ dinner served onboard as you head back.

Landmarks Sultaniye Hot Springs - Day 3
Dalyan - Caunos - Iztuzu Beach - Saklikent Canyon
After breakfast, you'll head to the coastal town of Dalyan for a boat ride along the Dalyan River where turtles hang out in the reeds. The ancient city of Caunos comes next, and you'll see rock-carved tombs, a 5,000-seat theatre, temples, and Roman baths scattered throughout. From there, the boat continues downstream to Iztuzu Beach, a 4.5km stretch of sand that's also a loggerhead turtle nesting ground. You can swim in the turquoise water before hiking 4km along the beach to reach the Turtle Conservation Centre (DEKAMER), where staff explain their protection work. By evening, you'll drive about 2 hours to Saklikent Canyon and settle into tree house or chalet bungalow accommodation for the night.

Saklikent Canyon to Sutlegen
Walk through Saklikent Gorge, which is Europe's second-longest canyon with walls reaching 300 metres high, then try river tubing downstream for some water activity. You'll visit the ancient city of Tlos and explore rock-carved Lycian tombs and the citadel, which offers views across the Xanthos Valley. After driving through mountain villages, you'll stop at Yayla Palamut for lunch with a local family, then walk in the pine forest before settling into a traditional family house in Sutlegen village for the night.

Sutlegen to Patara
Start with an optional visit to the local mosque and a trip to the village bakery to pick up fresh bread. You'll trek near Mt. Bozkaya's summit through ancient Lebanese Cedar forests where there's a chance to spot wild horses, then descend into Kuruova valley. From there, you'll head to Patara, check into your hotel, relax by the pool, and later stroll through olive groves to reach the ancient city and Patara beach for a sunset swim.

Patara
This is a free day, so you can explore at your own pace or stay at the hotel and beach to relax. If you'd prefer something structured, there's an optional sea kayaking excursion available in the protected waters of Kekova, paddling through clear water past submerged streets and buildings, then visiting the whitewashed village of Simena with its ancient tombs, Roman baths and castle.

Patara
You'll visit Xanthos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the ancient capital of Lycia, exploring its Persian and Roman influences. Then you'll take a canoe trip down the Xanthos River through reeds toward Patara beach, where you can watch for kingfishers, egrets, herons and terrapins along the banks. There's a picnic lunch on the riverbank before continuing to Patara beach to relax and swim.
