Itinerary
- Day 1
Tivat or Podgorica to Durmitor
You'll pick up your 4x4 SUV and head out on the scenic serpentine road that overlooks the Bay of Kotor, with dramatic karst landscapes on both sides. The drive takes you toward Durmitor's high ridge where you'll walk around Black Lake on accessible trails surrounded by forest. From there, you'll explore the national park using its scenic ring road and stop at viewpoints along Lovćen ridge for the panoramic views the area's known for.

- Day 2
Durmitor to Tara Canyon and Hotel
This day involves driving off-road through the Sinjajevina Ridge which has a lunar-like appearance, with viewpoints looking out over Tara Canyon and stops at alpine lakes along the way. You'll then get on the turquoise Tara River for a rafting adventure beneath towering cliffs, after which you'll have lunch at a local riverside home. Later you'll drive past the iconic Tara Bridge that spans Europe's deepest canyon, take a detour through Kol\u0161in, and reach your hotel by evening.

- Day 3
Lake Biogradska and Bjelasica Range
You'll start with a scenic hike around Lake Biogradska in Montenegro's ancient forest, then drive off-road up serpentines through the woods to reach the open ridges of Bjelasica Range where you get sweeping views across the landscape. Along the way you'll stop at traditional shepherds' katuns where they'll prepare a rustic Montenegrin lunch for you. After eating, you'll descend into the Lim River Valley as the day wraps up.

Lake Skadar to Adriatic Coast
You'll leave the mountains on an off-road trail that passes a historic church and leads down to Lake Skadar, the Balkans' largest lake. From there, you'll take a boat ride moving among the lilies and waterfowl before heading down to the Adriatic coast. You'll stop at the Sveti Stefan viewpoint, which is an iconic island that's been turned into a luxury resort, and then finish the day in a coastal town.

- Day 5
Kotor Old Town and Departure
You'll do a walking tour through Kotor's Old Town, moving through its narrow alleys between the harbor and cliffs with views looking out over the Bay of Kotor. Depending on your flight time, you'll then drive to Tivat Airport, return the SUV, and wrap up your trip.
