- Day 1
Istanbul
Your Angels Vacations representative meets you at Istanbul Airport and drives you to your 5-star hotel in Sultanahmet Old Town. The afternoon and evening are free, so you can walk through the charming streets, check out the centuries-old architecture, and grab some Turkish delights. There's a welcome dinner at the hotel to kick things off.

Istanbul
After breakfast, you'll do a full-day guided tour of Constantinople's major landmarks. You'll see Topkapi Palace with its sultans' treasures and Bosphorus views, Hagia Sophia with its Byzantine dome and mosaics, the Blue Mosque decorated with 20,000 Iznik tiles, the ancient Hippodrome, and the Basilica Cistern with its forest of columns. Back at your hotel by evening, with the option to take a Bosphorus cruise and show.

Istanbul
Following breakfast, you'll take a guided Bosphorus cruise (up to 2 hours) to see palaces, bridges, and shoreline villages. Then head to the Asian Side to visit Çamlıca Hill and the Grand Çamlıca Mosque. From there, wander through the Grand Bazaar and check out the historic neighborhoods of Fener and Balat. You'll return to your hotel for your last night in Istanbul.

Istanbul to Ankara
After breakfast and checkout, you'll drive to Ankara (480 km). Once there, a guided tour takes you through Anıtkabir, Atatürk's mausoleum, and Ankara Castle with its citadel and city views. Check into your 5-star hotel, have dinner, and there's an optional modern art gallery visit if you're interested.

Ankara to Cappadocia
After breakfast, you'll check out and head across Anatolia toward Cappadocia (280 km). Along the way, you'll pass the vast salt flats of Salt Lake and see villages, plains, and volcanoes. Check into your cave-style hotel and relax for the evening. If you're traveling on the 27 Dec departure, a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and Show is included.

Cappadocia
You have the option to start at dawn with a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia's fairy chimneys and valleys. After breakfast, a guided tour takes you through Görème Open-Air Museum with frescoed churches, Devrent Valley with its rock shapes, Pasabag's fairy chimneys, Avanos for pottery-making, and an ancient underground city. If you're on the 19 Dec departure, a Christmas Eve Gala Dinner and Show is included.

Cappadocia to Kuşadası
After breakfast and checkout, you'll transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Izmir (about 1 hour 15 minutes, or up to 4 hours with a connection if needed). Then it's about 1 hour to Kuşadası on the Aegean coast. Check into your 5-star hotel and have dinner, with options for an evening harbor walk or Turkish bath.

Kuşadası
Following breakfast, you'll do a guided tour of the ancient city of Ephesus and its sacred sites. You'll see the impressive Library of Celsus, the ancient theatre, marble streets, and the remains of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders. The House of Virgin Mary is available as an optional stop. You'll return to Kuşadası for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast and checkout, you'll drive inland to Pamukkale (190 km). There you'll see the white mineral travertine terraces that look like snow, then visit the ancient city of Hierapolis with its theatre, gates, and necropolis. Cleopatra's Pool is optional if you want to swim among ancient ruins. Check into your 5-star thermal hotel and have dinner, with optional spa treatments available.

Pamukkale to Istanbul
After breakfast and checkout, you'll transfer to Izmir or Denizli Airport for a domestic flight back to Istanbul. Once you arrive, check into your hotel in the Taksim Square area, where you'll find plenty of nightlife and the bustling Istiklal Street. The rest of the day is yours, with optional stops at the Turkish Delight Factory or textile and outlet shops available before your flight.

Istanbul
Today is free in the Taksim area, so you can explore and relax at your own pace. Walk through Istiklal Street, grab Turkish coffee, or discover the city's heritage on your own. If you'd rather have guidance, optional tours are available to visit Dolmabahçe Palace, Süleymaniye Mosque, Galata Tower, or Mecidiye Mosque.
