Itinerary
- Day 1
Phnom Penh
You'll arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. After checking in and having a welcome drink, the rest of the day is open for you to settle in and relax at your own pace.

- Day 2
Phnom Penh
Start the day by taking a cyclo through Phnom Penh at a relaxed pace. You'll visit Wat Phnom for spiritual reflection, then head to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda to see the grand architecture. The National Museum comes next, where you can walk through centuries of Khmer art and history. After lunch, you'll visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which is powerful and moving. Later, wander through the Central Market and Russian Market as the city starts to wind down for the evening.

Phnom Penh to Kompong Thom
Leave Phnom Penh in the morning and drive toward Kompong Thom. Along the way, stop in Skun to check out the unique Spider and Insect Market where locals sell snacks. Have lunch in Kompong Thom, then travel about 30 km to Sambor Prei Kuk, an ancient archaeological site with dozens of brick temples featuring intricate carvings from the 7th century.

Kompong Thom to Siem Reap
After breakfast, head toward Siem Reap and stop to see the Naga Bridge in Kampong Kdei. Next, you'll reach Kampong Kleang, a fascinating village built on stilts and floating structures on Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest lake. Take a boat through flooded forests and fishing villages to see how people live here. Grab lunch at a local restaurant or homestay, then continue driving to Siem Reap.

Siem Reap

Breakfast follows at a local restaurant. Then attend an authentic monk blessing ceremony at an active pagoda where monks chant sacred Pali scriptures and sprinkle holy water. In the afternoon, explore Angkor Thom's southern gate, the Bayon Temple, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Baphuon, and Phimeanakas. End your day at Ta Prohm temple, famous for its ancient trees growing through the ruins.

Siem Reap
Begin at Damdek's lively local market to soak in the vibrant energy and activity. From there, go to Beng Mealea, a 12th-century temple partly covered by jungle with intricate Ramayana carvings carved into the stone. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Banteay Srei temple with its finely carved details. On the way back, stop at the Landmine Museum to see defused mines and learn about clearance efforts. Later, visit a village to watch traditional sugar palm production in action.

Siem Reap to Battambang
Depart Siem Reap in the morning for roughly a 3-hour drive to Battambang. When you arrive, take time to see the well-preserved French Colonial architecture, temples, markets, and art galleries around town. A unique half-hour ride on the Bamboo Train is next, a simple bamboo platform now limited to an 8 km stretch. Finish the day strolling through town to check out charming colonial buildings and small art galleries in the old quarter.
