Your airport representative will be waiting when you land in Kuala Lumpur and will drive you directly to your hotel in the city center. Once you're checked in, you can get oriented to the area around you. The city is quite the blend, really - modern high-rises standing right next to ornate temples, and street markets buzzing with activity at every corner.

Kuala Lumpur
You'll spend the full day taking in Kuala Lumpur's main attractions with a private driver handling all the transportation. Start with the Petronas Twin Towers and go up to the observation deck, then head to Batu Caves where you'll see 400-million-year-old limestone formations. From there, you'll check out the National Mosque and Thean Hou Temple, make stops in Chinatown and Central Market for shopping, see Merdeka Square with its 95-meter flagpole, visit the Royal Palace, and finish at Lake Gardens.

Kuala Lumpur to Bukit Lawang
Today you're leaving the city behind and traveling to Bukit Lawang in Sumatra. The scenery changes pretty dramatically as you head out - the modern skyline gives way to dense jungle, rivers, and small villages. You'll cross into a new country and by evening you'll be settled into your hotel, ready to start exploring the rainforest ahead.

Landmarks Gunung Leuser National Park - Day 4
Bukit Lawang
Your jungle trek begins after breakfast when your guide picks you up around 9:00 am. You'll walk down the river and then uphill through rubber plantations before entering Gunung Leuser National Park. Watch for semi-wild Sumatran Orangutans swinging through the trees with their babies, and you'll also spot Long Tail Macaques, Pig Tail Macaques, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and Monitor Lizards. Hike to viewpoints overlooking the Bohorok River valley, grab lunch along the way, and reach your riverside or waterfall campsite by 4:00 pm. After a swim to cool off, you'll have curry and rice for dinner around the bonfire before sleeping in your jungle tent.

Bukit Lawang
Wake up to a homemade breakfast at your rainforest campsite. You'll trek for about 3 hours this morning watching for wildlife, then stop for lunch surrounded by jungle sounds. After lunch, another 3 hours of trekking takes you to your second campsite. Cool off with a swim in the river or waterfall, then spend the evening around the bonfire with your guides sharing traditional jungle stories before dinner and rest.

Bukit Lawang
After your final homemade breakfast at camp, you can choose to relax at the campsite or trek for 3 to 5 more hours searching for wildlife like Sumatran Orangutans, Long Tail Macaques, Pig Tail Macaques, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, Silver Leaf Monkeys, White-handed Gibbons, Siamangs, and Slow Lorises. You might also spot Great Argus or Hornbill birds. Later you'll have your final jungle lunch and then experience the 'jungle taxi' tubing ride down the Bohorok River back to Bukit Lawang, arriving around 1:00 or 2:00 pm.

Bukit Lawang to Jakarta
After breakfast you'll transfer from Bukit Lawang to Medan Airport for your flight to Jakarta. Once you land in the capital, a representative will meet you and take you to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or start exploring on your own.

Jakarta
Your half-day cultural tour starts at the National Monument (Monas) in Merdeka Square, where you'll also see the National Museum and Presidential Palace. Next you'll visit the Istiqlal Mosque, Southeast Asia's largest, and Jakarta Cathedral with its Gothic architecture. Walk through Jakarta Old Town (Kota Tua) with cobblestone streets and Dutch colonial buildings, check out the Makutharama Puppet Studio for live wayang kulit performances, and see the historic Kota Intan Drawbridge. You'll finish at Sunda Kelapa Harbour to see traditional wooden pinisi schooners before transferring to the airport for your flight to Labuan Bajo in the afternoon.

Labuan Bajo
You'll be picked up from your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 am for a full-day speed boat adventure in Komodo National Park. After arriving at the harbor, you'll board at 8:00 am and head to Padar Island for a 2-hour hike with good views. Then it's Long Beach for swimming and photos, followed by Komodo Island for lunch. After that you'll snorkel and swim at Pink Beach near Taka Makasar, head to Manta Point to look for Manta Rays, and finish at Kanawa Island in late afternoon for more snorkeling. The speed boat returns you to Labuan Bajo around 5:00 pm.

This half-day adventure takes you to two local favorites. You'll start at Rangko Cave, a sea cave with a crystal-clear turquoise pool lit by natural sunlight, perfect for swimming. From there you'll head to a pristine beach for snorkeling in colorful waters full of marine life. The boat holds a maximum of 12 passengers total and has two guaranteed departures daily, so this feels like an intimate trip.

Ubud
Today you're exploring Ubud's cultural side. Start at the Ubud Art Market where you can browse one-of-a-kind handmade crafts and local goods. Then head to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary to see Bali's famous long-tailed macaques in their sacred, forested setting. After that, visit the Tegallalang Rice Terraces where you can learn about traditional Balinese farming while taking in one of Bali's most recognizable landscapes.

- Day 13
Mount Batur
You'll get picked up between 1:30 and 2:30 am for an early morning Mount Batur adventure. Once you arrive near Kintamani village, your local guide will give you a safety briefing, then you'll trek for about 1.5 hours to the summit of the active volcano. You'll watch the sunrise colors shift across the landscape, then enjoy breakfast at the top with views of the volcanic crater. After walking around the crater area and trekking across black sand and lava, you'll head back down and stop at the hidden Kanto Lampo Waterfall for a swim before returning to your hotel. The tour runs from 3:00 am to 3:00 pm.

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for your departure flight, heading home with memories of cultural sites, tropical landscapes, and all the unique experiences you've had.
