    Perth to Cape Naturaliste

    You'll head out from Perth and reach Cape Naturaliste by lunchtime. After arriving, there's a picnic lunch on the lawn at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse where you'll meet your group. The first walk on the Cape to Cape track is relatively straightforward, with cliff-top trails and beach walking. Keep an eye out for dolphins along the way.

    Cape Naturaliste to Moses Rock

    Morning brings beach walking with coastal views throughout the day. You'll see red granite boulders, white sandy beaches, and turquoise waters as you walk the rugged coastline. Lunch happens at Injidup surfing spot, then you'll visit Quinninup Falls. The day finishes with ocean views from Moses Rock.

    Moses Rock to Gracetown

    This is a relatively straightforward day with some hills and sandy patches mixed in. From cliff-top vantage points you get sweeping coastal views, and the towering granite cliffs of Willyabrup are hard to miss. If the weather cooperates, you can take a swim in the sheltered bay at Gracetown or just soak your feet and take in the day.

    Walking through coastal heath leads you to Ellensbrook historic homestead for morning tea and time to explore the grounds. After that, you'll head inland to see a different kind of landscape, then return to the coast for a beach walk to Cape Mentelle. The day ends at Margaret River mouth with a possible swim depending on weather.

    Margaret River to Boranup Forest

    You'll find a nice mix of scenery today. Morning tea is beside Boodjidup brook, then a beach walk takes you to Redgate for lunch. Later, spectacular cliff-top walking brings you to Contos Campground for afternoon tea. The day finishes through cool forest on easy, firm tracks, which makes for a good ending despite the distance covered.

    You'll walk through karri forest before heading down to the aqua-blue waters of Hamelin Bay. The 6 km beach stretch to Hamelin Bay is where you'll have picnic lunch. After eating, there's a short but challenging hike up to tiny Foul Bay Lighthouse where you get sweeping coastal views, then the day wraps up.

    Your final day is especially exciting if it's windy. Much of the walking follows a limestone ledge close to the sea with blowholes. A long beach stretch gives you time to reflect on the week's accomplishments. You'll head inland and might spot Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse marking where the walk ends. The official finish is at Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, and that's when you celebrate.
