Departure

Yogyakarta
You'll land in Yogyakarta, Central Java's cultural center, and check into your hotel. After settling in, take a traditional becak rickshaw ride through vibrant Malioboro street. Try local favorites like gudeg, satay, and bakpia as you wander through the busy market area.

Yogyakarta - Village
This morning you'll join a batik workshop to create your own artwork using traditional methods. Then it's a Javanese cooking class where you'll prepare two classic dishes with fresh ingredients sourced from nearby fields. You'll get to eat what you've cooked for lunch.

- Day 4
Yogyakarta
Get an early start to catch the sunrise at Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, you'll head to Prambanan Temple where the tall towers and carved stone reliefs are really the main draw. From there, take a walk around the temple grounds to get a full sense of the site.

Yogyakarta to Surabaya
Board a scenic train from Yogyakarta to Surabaya, Indonesia's second-largest city, for about a 4-hour journey. Watch the landscape pass by from your seat. Once you arrive, either explore the city on your own or relax at your hotel.

Mount Bromo
You'll need to wake up around 2-3am for a jeep ride to Mount Bromo's viewpoint to see the sunrise over one of Indonesia's most active volcanoes. After that, hike up to the crater so you can see the volcanic landscape up close. Spend the rest of the day back at your accommodation relaxing, then end the evening with a campfire dinner under the stars.

Surabaya - Kalibaru
Drive to Kalibaru, known locally as the 'Little Switzerland of Java.' Stop at the colorful rainbow village of Malang to take photos and check out local art. Later you'll reach your accommodation with free time before dinner.

Kalibaru to Bali
Visit a traditional plantation to learn how coffee, cocoa, and spices are grown using old methods, and taste fresh produce. Then leave Java by ferry, crossing from Ketapang to Gilimanuk to reach Bali. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your resort or wandering around the natural surroundings.

Kalibaru - Lovina
You're heading to Lovina, a laid-back beach resort on Bali's north coast with black sand beaches. On the way, stop at Banyumala Twin Waterfalls and take a short walk through thick greenery. Finish the day with a walk along the beach.

Lovina to Ubud
Travel to Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. You'll pass through the famous Handara Gate and stop at the scenic Ulun Danu Bratan temple on Lake Beratan, which honors the lake goddess Dewi Danu. Get to Ubud in the afternoon and have the rest of the day to yourself.

Ubud - East Bali
Explore East Bali starting with the iconic Gates of Heaven at Lempuyang Temple, where you'll catch views of Mount Agung. See the Tirta Gangga Water Garden and Taman Ujung Water Palace to learn more about Balinese culture. Grab lunch at Bali Asli restaurant where they use wood-fired clay ovens. Head to Asah Hill for panoramic views, then relax at White Sand Beach where you can see Lombok island.

Ubud - Jatiluwih
This morning you'll take an e-bike tour through the lush Jatiluwih rice terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a café stop for drinks. Back at the hotel after freshening up, you'll spend the evening with a local family learning to prepare 2 to 3 Balinese dishes. They'll show you local herbs and spices, take you through their farm and temple, and show you an orchard with jackfruit, bananas, and cocoa.

Ubud - Firefly Tour
Take part in Melukat, a traditional Balinese cleansing ritual meant to release negative energies and bring spiritual renewal. You'll gain real insights into how Balinese spirituality works. Later at dusk, head into a peaceful plantation to search for glowworms while an expert conservationist explains their importance in Balinese culture and the local environment.

Ubud to Labuan Bajo
After a late breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Labuan Bajo on Flores island. Spend the evening exploring the town.

Komodo Islands
After breakfast, drive to the harbor and board the Catnasze Phinisi boat where your 3-day cruise begins. Visit Kelor Island for a short hike, then swim and snorkel in the waters off Manjarite Island. Later, head to Kalong Island to watch the sunset and you might see flying foxes in the area.

Komodo Islands

In the afternoon, visit Taka Makassar and do some snorkeling at Manta Point where manta rays sometimes appear.

Following breakfast, head to Kanawa Island, a hilly island surrounded by crystal-clear water. Return to Labuan Bajo and then fly back to Bali. Freshen up at your accommodation before gathering for a farewell dinner.
