Geneva to Montreux
The GoldenPass Panoramic Express train takes you from Geneva to Montreux, and the views along the way are really the highlight here. If you're interested, Gruyères and Broc Fabrique are worth stopping at, but plenty of people skip those and just sit back and watch the mountains go by. Once you reach Montreux, check in and settle in for the night.

Montreux to Zermatt and Return
After breakfast, you'll head out to Zermatt for the day. The Matterhorn rises right up from the town, so it's impossible to miss. Matterhorn Glacier Paradise runs year-round if you want to go up, and the museum covers the climbing stories and how the town changed over time. The train back to Montreux happens in the evening so you can return for the night.

Montreux to Interlaken
This morning involves a train ride from Montreux to Interlaken using your Swiss Pass. When you get there, go straight to your hotel to check in and get oriented to the region. It's a chance to relax a bit before tomorrow's big day.

Interlaken Region Full Day Tour
Today you're going all the way up to Jungfraujoch on the train, riding through the Eiger and Mönch mountains to reach Europe's highest railway station. The ice palace and Sphinx observation point give you perspectives you won't forget, plus views of the Aletsch Glacier spread out below. Later, head down to Murren or Wengen, both car-free villages with hiking options. Your day pass covers regional trains but mountain trains and cable cars need separate tickets.

Interlaken to Lucerne
The train from Interlaken takes you to Lucerne, and after checking in you'll head up Mount Rigi by train and cable car. The ride gives you views of green slopes, forests, and cattle grazing around you. To finish things off, a boat ride on Lake Lucerne shows you small villages and the mountains reflected in the water.

Lucerne to Zurich
You travel by train to Engelberg, then go up Mount Titlis using gondolas and cable cars with sharp alpine scenery all around. The Ice Flyer chairlift swings you out over the glacier so you can see it up close. From there, another train carries you to Zurich where you'll check into your hotel.

Zurich
Rhine Falls, Europe's largest waterfall, is the morning stop with multiple viewing platforms to choose from. A boat ride (15 Swiss Francs, pay there) gets you closer if you want it. Then you do a self-guided walk around Zurich hitting the Town Hall, Cathedral, Opera House, and old streets. The rest of the day is open to explore more of the city and grab dinner.

Departure from Zurich
Your last day means heading to the airport. The hotel shuttle (usually 6 to 8 Swiss Francs) can take you if it's available, or arrange your own ride from the city center. Either way, you'll get to Zurich Airport (ZRH) in time for your flight.
