Itinerary
- Day 1
Cape Town to Oudtshoorn
You'll arrive in Cape Town and drive along Route 62 through mountain passes and vineyards heading toward the Karoo. The drive takes you through some nice scenery before reaching Cango Caves, where you'll walk through Africa's largest show cave system with massive cavernous halls and ancient limestone formations. By evening you're in Oudtshoorn for the night. If you're interested, there's a scenic bike ride over the UNESCO Swartberg Mountain Pass available, and you can join a Karoo braai dinner on a local farm.

- Day 2
Oudtshoorn to Addo
You'll head east toward Addo Elephant National Park, stopping for lunch along the way. In the afternoon, hop into a comfortable coach for a game drive through the park. You'll look for over 600 African elephants, plus lions, buffalo, and antelope roaming the landscape. Then it's time to settle in for the night. There's a karaoke bar nearby if you want to try that in the evening.

Addo
After a relaxed morning, you'll take two game drives through the Eastern Cape. The drives cover valleys, plains, and rivers as you search for the Big 5. Later, you'll head back toward the city with the evening free to unwind. Karaoke is available if you want to get out again.

Addo to Knysna
You'll travel along the Garden Route toward Knysna with some scenic stops along the way. First, you'll spend time at J-Bay, one of the world's best surf spots. From there, you'll hike to Storms River Bridge for photos. Finally, you'll arrive in Knysna, a coastal town where you'll stay for two nights and have plenty of time to explore the area.

Knysna
Breakfast comes with views overlooking the Knysna lagoon. During the day, you can join a marine safari to spot whales, dolphins, and seals, then relax on Plettenberg Beach. In the evening, there's an optional Township visit to meet locals, a sunset cruise on the Knysna lagoon, group dinner by the water, and a night out if you're interested.

After checking back into Cape Town, the evening is free to explore V&A Waterfront on your own with a walkabout dinner option.

Cape Town to Stellenbosch
Today takes you to the Stellenbosch wine region. There's an optional helicopter ride over seas and peaks if that interests you. You'll explore the wine town, check out local food markets for lunch, and tour wine farms with optional tastings. On the return to Cape Town, there's an optional MasterChef-style cooking class with music and drinks.

Later, you'll head to the airport for an evening flight to Durban. You'll check into your hotel, freshen up, and have dinner in the city with an optional night out available.

After settling in and freshening up, there's a visit to a local Zulu village where you'll meet locals and learn about their culture and traditions.

You'll choose between activities this morning. There's a walking safari in iSimangaliso Wetland Park to spot elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and antelopes, or a marine safari for whales, sharks, and dolphins. The afternoon is for relaxing or hanging out by the lodge pool. The evening finishes with an optional sunset game drive and a traditional South African buffet dinner.

St Lucia to Eswatini
An early start takes you inland to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, aiming to arrive by sunrise. You can join an optional half-day game drive to search for the Big Five at this reserve that played a key role in saving the White Rhino. An optional picnic lunch is available. You'll then cross into Eswatini for a cultural experience to meet locals and learn about their way of life. You'll stay overnight at Mlilwane's Main Lodge in unique beehive thatched huts with ensuite bathrooms.

Later, you'll head to Kruger National Park for an exclusive glamping experience with canvas tents, mattresses, linen, and a roaring bonfire. You'll fall asleep listening to the nocturnal calls of hyenas, jackals, and lions.

Kruger

The afternoon brings another optional sunset game drive for Big Five viewing. Dinner features an optional traditional South African braai with local sides and desserts.

Kruger to Johannesburg
Your final day gives you time for one or two last morning game drives. You can choose a sunrise game drive to spot nocturnal cats or sleep in like the animals. After that, you'll head out on the last game drive through Kruger as you make your way out of the park. Once that final wildlife spotting is done, you'll depart for either Kruger Mpumalanga Airport or Johannesburg International Airport.
