  Is it possible to share a room with a female traveler? I'm considering a one-day extension to explore Timimoun and/or Tamanrasset. Are these two places close to each other? If not, which one would you recommend as more interesting? Can I obtain a visa upon arrival in Algiers?

  Should we find a solo traveler interested in sharing a room, we will let you know. However, all confirmed participants at the moment are either in double occupancy or have opted to pay the single supplement for privacy. To visit either Timimoun or Tamanrasset, flights to and from Algiers are required. The minimum extension is 3 days for Timimoun or 4 days for Tamanrasset.

  After reading more about Algeria, my interests for a tour have changed. Train system, metro, cable cars, trams. Small fox, monk seal, barbary macaque, sahara cheetah; sahara cypress. Couscous and Rai music. Tallest minaret, Tasssili n'Ajjer National park. Timgad and M'zab valley fortified cities, and the Mediterranean coastline. The Timeless tour includes Constantine, Ghardaia, Tipasa with no mention of 'my list'.
