Hobart
You'll arrive in Hobart and head straight to the docks where the Coral Discoverer is waiting for you. After getting settled into your cabin, take the evening to get comfortable on board. Dinner happens right here on the ship, so you can relax and meet fellow passengers without rushing anywhere.

- Day 2
Bruny Island
The ship cruises from Adventure Bay over to South Bruny Island's rugged southern coastline. You'll explore deep sea caves and see the Monument rock formation up close, plus keep an eye out for seals, dolphins and sea birds. Later on, you'll walk along the coastal cliffs at Fluted Cape where Bennett's wallabies hang around, and learn about the area's whaling history while taking in views across to Grassy Point.

- Day 3
Maria Island
Maria Island is your stop today, and it's packed with wildlife like wombats, geese, kangaroos and wallabies. You'll check out the Darlington settlement, a World Heritage site that shows what the convict era was really like here. After that, head to the Painted Cliffs for their striking colors. Optional walks are available if you want more, including the Fossil Cliffs walk or the Reservoir Circuit through the natural landscape.

Schouten Island
The Freycinet Peninsula comes into view with its distinctive pink granite mountains and white sand. You can join a guided walk along the Isthmus Track out to Wineglass Bay for a swim, or hit the Wineglass Bay Lookout if you prefer the panoramic views instead. Later, the ship heads to secluded Schouten Island where you'll have time for a relaxed beach walk.

- Day 5
Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour
You're starting several days exploring Tasmania's World Heritage wilderness in the southwest, a rugged area that's mostly unreachable by road. The ship gets you into this remote region where you'll see craggy mountains, ancient forests, button grass plains and big lakes shaped by the Southern Ocean. Time goes into exploring Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour through hiking, kayaking and tender cruises while learning about Indigenous Australian heritage.

Huon Valley
The Huon Valley is up next, and this place used to be Tasmania's apple country but now it's all about food and wine. You'll meet local producers, try ciders and wines, and taste cheeses, honey, cherries, salmon and shellfish straight from the source. Wander the banks of the Huon River with its charming towns and wineries, or if beaches appeal more, check out the pristine shores of D'entrecasteaux Channel before heading back to the ship.

Tasman Peninsula
The Tasman Peninsula appears with its soaring sea cliffs, including Cape Raoul, Cape Pillar and Cape Hauy which hit 300 metres and rank as the tallest in the southern hemisphere. Watch for fur seals, dolphins and albatross in the water and sky. You can visit remote Fortescue Bay beach, hike sections of the Tasman Trail, cruise the rugged coastline on a tender, or paddle around Canoe Bay by kayak depending on what appeals to you.

Port Arthur
Port Arthur Site is today's focus, the best preserved convict settlement in Australia and another World Heritage location. A knowledgeable guide takes you through the historic buildings, ruins, heritage gardens and restored period homes on Eaglehawk Neck. You'll learn about this significant place that operated as a penal colony for over 40 years before it closed in 1877.

Hobart
The cruise wraps up after breakfast when you arrive back in Hobart. You'll disembark and catch a transfer either to the airport for your onwards flight, or to accommodation if you're staying on for more of your APT adventure.
