Day 1
Lusaka
You'll arrive in Lusaka and get settled into your accommodation for the night (StayEasy Lusaka works well if you need a recommendation). After breakfast at your hotel, spend some time checking out the local dining scene to get a feel for the city. At 5:00 PM, head to the meet and greet session in your hotel lounge where you'll connect with other travelers and handle any remaining travel paperwork.

Lusaka to Lower Zambezi National Park
Following breakfast, you'll travel from Lusaka to Chirundu, a border town where you'll grab lunch. From there, an off-road track takes you into Lower Zambezi Valley to reach your lodge or campsite. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to relax, and you can choose optional activities like visiting Chiawa Village or taking a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River if that interests you before dinner.

Thank you for arranging personalized tour. Overall, all the family members had good experience and fun especially the helpful tour guides and excellent accommodations but some of the arrangements didn’t reach our expectations like having to pay the meals and missing tour even though they should have been included and meeting time. Other than those, we had wonderful time! Thank you

The guides were excellent as were accommodations . I thought I was going to be on a small group tour but was alone most of the trip . I would have preferred a group as travel in Namibia entails many very long drives . A group trip would have provided conversation and company during those long drives .

For tours departing after May 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Across Africa Tours & Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 100 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
