I am looking at this tour for 4 possibly 6 people. Is there any chance we could have a cave hotel in Cappadocia

However, you may book accommodations in Cappadocia separately and rejoin the group as per the daily itinerary, consulting your guide during the tour.

When you say price based on a shared room. Is this just with 1 other - your partner, or others?

When we say the price is based on a shared room: If you book as 1 passenger, you would share the room with one other passenger of the same gender. If you book as 2 passengers together, you will share a room only with each other and not with anyone else.

The tour information indicates ages 18-59. I take it given we are 60 and 65, we will not be able to take this tour? Also, can you explain what "partially guided" means?

You are very welcome to join the tour, even though you are 60 and 65, as long as you are fit, active, and comfortable with the itinerary pace. The age range shown is a guideline rather than a strict restriction, and we regularly welcome travellers over 60 on our tours. Regarding "partially guided", this means that: The main tour itinerary is fully guided, with a tour leader accompanying you throughout. Some optional excursions and free-time activities are not guided, giving you the flexibility to explore independently if you wish. Everything included in the core itinerary is guided as usual.

travel talk is poor at providing information ahead of time - However, the guides are excellent at providing daily information, coordinating side trips, fees, places/stores/venues to visit on free time for best food and prices. They are amazingly knowledgeable and well-seasoned guides. Hotels were more 3 and 4 than 4 and 5 but pleasant each with their own hidden gem. The Gullet could have used a sprucing up - but again the crew was amazing. The charter busses were excellent with great drivers. I had an amazing time touring almost the entire country - I'm not a tour kind of person but this was the right choice for this trip. AND all my fellow travelers were terrific companyShow more
