The trip was amazing and the pristine environment in Antarctica needs to be seen and felt to be appreciated. Quark provided a platform to conduct the the trip in a sustainable manner, impeccable procedures to preserve the environment and also good food to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyable and unforgettable trip. One suggestion for Quark is to clearly advise future participants to cater 2-3 days leeway to allow for flights delay or cancellation due to the changeable weather conditions. There was a 2 days delay for my trip due to planes being unable to land in Antarctica due to accumulated snow on the runway. This caused a frantic rush to change flights and other travel arrangements for many participants aggravated by the limited internet access in Antarctica which could be avoidable or mitigated if the participants were advised of probable delays prior to the trip.Show more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Quark Expeditions. My husband and I did the 'Fly the Drake Passage' Antarctica cruise in January 2020, just before the pandemic. We were blown away by the incredible staff and crew. This trip surpassed ALL of our expecations. If you are looking for a high quality experience with like-minded individuals who love nature, wildlife viewing and adventure, Quark is definitely the company to sail with.Show more

The scenery was as breath- taking as I expected - if not more so: the animal life fantastic. What made the journey was the informative guides, the high quality food and the friendliness of all concerned. A fabulous trip that involved crossing the Antarctic Circle and visiting several historic sites and preserved huts of past years. The most outstanding memory is of the orca pod feeding off a whale: Anoux's beaked whale is rare itself but watching the orca pod surrounding it, taking chunks to eat and arcing as they did so, is a something I will not forget. But this was just one of many fantastic moments. The whole guide staff were very good. They were all polar experts who had personal experiences to talk about and were always happy to answer questions. I felt they dealt with the unfortunate incident of the death of the Japanese lady extremely well and should be commended for this. Do you have any advice for potential travellers? Take twice as much digital card space as you think you will need - and then more! There is so much to film both in stills and on video. It was such an amazing experience that I cannot do anything else to potential travellers but - GO!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Exodus Adventure Travels. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
